Dark and heavy — I really dig the contrast between the lyric and the overall feel of the track. It hits that sweet spot where tension and emotion meet.

The beginning of the song had me thinking I clicked the wrong page — soft and gentle opening, almost majestic, Ron.
Love how that solo just soars.

Big‑time sounding good, Booby.
Always great hearing some real outlaw country.

One of the longest songs I’ve ever heard.
Pretty sure I aged a full presidential term listening to it.

A bit of a different style from you, Randy. But still some very fine guitar picking with tone and sustain galore!

I was actually playing it while working on the track.
Gotta love a bit of the country in the blues - nice tone on that guitar...is that a tele? Great control you have.
Great listen thanks Mike
@hooker-green - Thanks so much for the nice comment! Ein Frohes Neues Jahr an Dich!
Im always surprised about your excellent guitar playing. Sounds very cool your lead guitar and the phrases you create tell a sad story. But I like to mentioned that wonderful organ. I really like blues played with an organ. my compliments. and Frohes Neues Jahr

Hey @Farrell-jackson - thanks for the nice comment. I am actually using my Mexi Strat, running it through my BOSS GT-8 straight into my audio interface.
Very cool blues guitar playing Mike! I can hear some Gregg Allman vocals sitting with this nicely.....I guess it would then be Southern Rock Blues. What's the guitar and amp combo?
