Lex -- you have an amazing talent. This song is most excellent. Nice acoustic sound, love the drums, bass, vocal. But a good song rises or falls on the lyrics and this one is solid there.

Well my Mother always told me I'm going straight to hell and since I find little comfort in being a blind conformist, I guess this one was directed at me. Musically and lyrically its very to the point and has your excellent style stamped on it.
dig the guitar a lot too lex.. but then you come in your brilliant lyrics and recognizable voice.. except for the new to your music we are long past tom petty or dylan comparissons.. your style is your own and you are maybe the best lyricist since dylan.. or springsteen.. i know this song but it sounds fresh, new.. inspired and inspiring.. very uplifting.. you deliver your outspokenly clever and intelligent cynicism very charmingly.. you wordsmith you.. cheers brother..

Excellent work, Lex. Although a couple of the verses seemed to have been aimed at yours truly....lol. Great production all round. The confidence you have in your vocals at the moment is both heartening and justified. Unfortunately, as a lawyer I've realised that people can be that dense. We can rail about it but they still do it.
