March 20, 2003 the invasion of Iraq began. I sat there watching news reports. Suddenly, it occurred to me that the first day of war(s) always begin on sunny and blue sky days. As I sat watching, I...

Gorgeous production and beautiful vocal delivery from Yyonne J! Silky Joseph, the way you swing that axe man! Love this, has that “Philadelphia sound!”

This is such an excellent production: The drum work is awesome, the guitar performances are out-of-this-world and your vocal delivery is the best I've ever heard from you! This whole song is one of my all time faves on the Mix, for sure! Congratulations on this achievement, Matthew!
I really like this one. It has a senior citizen motion to it like a roller coaster for someone who might just jump out of his skin if you just said Hi real suddenly. It flows seamlessly and laid back. It sounds like Bill Black's Combo for 55 years ago. It is honey to a bee. Vig
Virtual, well I never! This is a real as real can get. Very sexy and sensual. Her imagine is indelibly imprinted in my mind. Such a fun song.
I love drumming this style of music...nice guitar pickin...love the blues.....:)Bud
Wonderful blues song. I love the vocals very great. The sax are so cool, great arranged and a fantastic mood. Great stuff.
Sweet keys. The vocal approach is unusual but good. Nice work and cool sax line.
Regards
John
Ayuh! Dem's da balooze, awright.
There's a kind of juke joint looseness to the drums that I like in this. The vocal is kinda different -- it sounds like a tenor sax in places. Cool. It's a little hard to make out some of the lyrics, but I still like the effect in this song.
Oh -- lucious keyboard sound. You get the Bluespicker Seal of Approval for that!

You know I couldn't tell it was a "digital treatment" on the vox.
Very cool! It sounds every bit like a smoky bar Blues tune. I would certainly consider this a success! I'd like to hear what else you could accomplish with that "digital treatment!"
As noted already - the keys really sell this as a staring into the bottom of an empty glass Blues tune.
If you find any more secrets to being a one-man show who can't sing, please pass it on. I'm in the same boat as you are.
Well done!
