Thank you Jim !The tune was written specifically so I can record my 7 String guitar.

Soundz cool to me, really dig that late 50's smoky bar lp sound. Must be a human playing; I hear a reverb and a couple of wood floors pounding and a twang.
Thank you kindly, good sir.
Nice one David. Like the guitar sounds and the energy that starts the whole song off and then it lays back into the vocals. The synth and birds take your mind into a serene atmosphere where you can relate to the lyrics and then your off on a journey into time. Nice arrangement, instrumentation, vocals and mix. A miracle of creation from the master. Very nicely done!!
Peace and Blessings, John
Ah their a re many words for those moments of such lucid clarity.
In Buddhism they call ti "Satori",in psychology, "Floodlighting"
But what does it matter what they call it.
What it is,is a very small window into a higher state of being.
Having experiences many such moments myself, and sang one or two songs about it,I can fully appreciate the driving force to capture something of it's spirit, and IMHO,there are passages within, just fleeting moments, the phrasing of a piano, the gentle sliding bass...
Something is there.
Perhaps the term cosmic consciousness best describes to those who have felt it?
It is the certain knowledge that everything belongs and all the universe wants is every man, woman and child happy.
As you sing...
"There are no limits"
No time,no distance,no degree of separation between anything or anyone.
Superb musicianship throughout, the dazzling tapestry shifts wonderfully around you all.
This must have been quite a labour of love David, again,I can fully appreciate that.
There are moments as musicians/songwriters when it seems we are the conduit and not the player/writer.
It is epic,it is all encompassing, and not one second is wasted.
Bravo mate.
Nigel
Hi David...
Sorry it took me a week to get over here...but after our conversation...I felt I had to listen to this track. I'm glad I did...it is a really amazing and most ambitious effort. So many excellent instrumental movements in this one...nice electric guitar work...a beautiful transition to a great sounding acoustic guitar...excellent drums and bass throughout...the keyboard stuff shines...and the vocals and lyrics are potent. I can't tell if that is a fretless bass or a synth I hear midway through the track...but it sounds great. I hear so many influences in this...actually "Blows Against The Empire" by Jefferson Starship was what hit me first...because that too was such a diverse group of musicians who combined in a most powerful way.
You already know we share a similar life-view...so the lyrics were special...I thought.
Very well done. Thanks for sharing this.
Hugs...Mike (NAV)
Hey Dave, everytime I listen to this track, and you know I've listened alot lol, it just stayed fresh and exzciting. I'm proud of the work I was able to provide, but it would be nothing without the great inspiration that you composed. Thanks for letting me join you on your journey !! It's been a great trip !!
William
WOW!! Prog extravaganza alert! The inspired bass line got me first off. But I quickly found this is one epic sort of piece packed with compelling parts that captivate imagination and embody the spirit of excellent prog music. WOW AGAIN. Dave, forgive me...I love all your stuff. But this one DOES take the cake. Such a beautiful resolution for the whole album. No one does it like you and your wonderful team of musicians.
All components of this song work off and into each other effortlessly..a testament to the level of visionary writing you employ. It's all powerfully documented here. Incredible musical inspiration for me my man! I NEED this album when it comes out...no two ways about that. ~Blake
VERY energetic tune, Dave ... despite the fact that Kephas had this tune on his show, it will also be on mine. That must mean "I LOVE IT!!!!"
I love the breaks between the rockin' sound back to the acoustic - great vocals and guitar! Love the brass, too!!! Great stuff!
Cheers,
Mike
Dave - This reminded me of Toto in the beginning. Then..the acoustic cross-over is simply..wonderful! What a beautiful concept/prog-rock piece! The composition itself is note-worthy, not to mention the musicianship. In every aspect of this song, this is a sure winner! Extremely enjoyable. Almost rock opera-ish....lot's of twists and turns along the way that take the listener on a journey....
Super Guitaring and Great feel to the whole tune Cool Vocals . Back up is superb Nice Changes . solid Work
regards
Jay from The Autumnleaf
If ever the title of a piece described it adequately this is it. Sensational opening, great move into the acoustic sequence from there after I just went with the flow. With any piece of this magnitude the temptation to use influences is just to great. So I'll keep it simple. Brilliant well done
love this opening David. Kind of grabs the listener and does not let go. The b3 in the backing sounds great! Very nice change up to acoustic. man i am really liking this. It has a rock opera musical quality to it. fantastic job to all involved. the musicianship quality on here is remarkable.
Now it's about time I got out of my teaching chair for some more listens.
This really pulls me in David. Love that guitar, the way it cascades down the fretborad is really cool-like the repetition...and what a surprise with a complete change...you do it well, love it. Great vocals. Like the bright shining acoustic...most cosmic altered feeling here. Fine arrangement; wonderful synth/keyborad work, a real excellent stage of great sound mixes. Wow! I'm taken by your impressive production; rather epic...indeed. This is a most original tune. You've been busy.
SUPERB. This is so unique -it's into my faves right now, worth more listens. Love the soaring guitar like the birds floating around it. It just moves in the later into another dimension, again great finger work on them keys and again the guitar is sizzling. Top notc artistry.
EXCELENT. Love it. Masterful work.
-Your friend. -Vesa. (Highly unique)
You can tell this is a great lineup of talent, from keys to guitars and drums. I'm into the intro, ya nice breakdown, then that beautiful soundscape just opens up your mind as you listen to the vocal. You can really hear your influences. Magical song with such key work. Epic track folks, well done David...enjoyed!!
hi david- amassive collab here--this one rocks from top to bottom easty to west--nice bringdown as the vocals kick in--great singing man--really enjoyable! guitar sound is beautiful! tell william i said hello!! mark
Fabulous guitar work and tones. The backing keys add sweet color. I liked the music on the bridge at 1:00 but the vocals didn't work for me. The change aT 2:22 takes a whole new path, which is good, this tune reminds me of how the Moody Blues wrote their early tunes. The vocals on that segment worked great. At 5:08 the song takes again another path, but now I am really loving the musicanship going on, this is coming straight out of what YES was able to do as a band, this is a good thing.
Very intresting track that deseves a couple of listens before a honest comment can really be made.
