Just came across this from a facebook post! Great stuff.. love your playing and tone on this.. whole tune smokes!
I can totally relate .. (Please keep in mind that I am going on 2 hours of sleep)I think the title suits me well.. It actually pulled me in for a listen.. I don't sleep much.. There's too much to do.. Like wander around mixposure searching for new music to listen to.. And there's always chat .. And then there's those bolts of inspiration at the moment I finally decide that I feel I can get to sleep.. I figure I'll get plenty, once I'm pushing up daisies.. LoL ~ See what sleep deprivation causes ? LoL ~ All you were looking for was a review.. hahaha ~ This is a really cool track mach ~ And yes, I did listen.. Three times .. Most of the song sounds like what my brain does when it should be sleeping & then at the end of the song it sounds like sleep finally hit (as I crash).. This is a very nice instrumental ~
Too cool. Excellent overall composition highlighted with great guitar chops.
Sleep Deprived is a funkishly inspired instrumental tinged with seriously cool lead work and an organ part thats simply gorgeous.
Some of the soundbites are outlandishly cool and so well placed in the mix they almost go un noticed.
The build in tension throughout is well handled the distant distortion elements into the huge explosion end ......awesome.
