I can relate to this song lyrically so much -- "Wishing for change will get you nowhere" -- so true -- we all just have to do the hard work and make it happen. And, wow, you sure can sing. 
Thanks for the comments guys. The time is actually 6/8 but the drums play 3/4. This gives it the continuity of a 6/8 beat but having the drums play a straight 3/4 gives it a push. saladin, I use all VSTi for all my sounds except the guitars and bass. The Mellotron is from a Reason refill as well as M-tron. The strings and piano are form Edirol Orchestral. The drums were from Groove Agent.
Lovely piece of writing and performance. Love the contrast between the "moving on" feel of the rhythm track to the almost nostalgic air to the vocals. Great vocal performance and really lovely chorus section.
This is just such a wonderful song. It transports the listener to the faith that is sometimes needed to go forward, and what solace we can take in that. Just a great chorus, reflecting the emotional state of the story teller with the surge of harmony and strings.
There something hauntingly Dylan about this number. very good song in it's own right, well done
I am REALLY glad, I had time to listen today. I'm just sorry, I missed yourmusic earlier. This is PERFECT Morning music for me. You really present an excellent feel and mood, with your music. Like the last sone...EXCELLENT Instrumentation choices and performances. Yhanks for sharing, it will be GREATLY Enjoyed.

Where did you get those vintage tronics ? The thing is very coherent. I only review when I like, so : Just a little critic(suggestion?) : maybe a lack of density in the low frequency range.
