A cosmic musical dance up. Must admit I was very pleasantly surprised when those first notes opened up.
This hits listening spot very nicely..... Like it lots

The way you layer up all the instrumentation and the harmonies behind you main vocal makes it so easy to love this song.

OMG what great playing, very Hot!!!!
This is excellent, reads through a couple of reviews and can see where this came from. I was gonna say that this very much reminds me of the Beck/Hammer compositions from the Wired and Blow by Blow albums. I have not had as much fun listening to a bit of jazz in ages cracking piece well done
Beautiful Piece and Shows your Versatality on the guitars
had a smokey feel to it all the way I felt and nice key boards back up
regards
JAY from The Autumnleaf
What a great piece - really enjoyed it - top notch.
Very good tune...toneage/pluckage is top notch...
hi,
for those asking my mothers name was Faith this song was written for her and i wanted it to have old school feel jeff beck voicing with a little jazz flare.
The only thing I don't agree is with the 70's paradigm. Music is timeless... Specially compositions like this one, with a lot of bebop feel in it... If I would have to set an era or time frame I would place this great performance in the 2012, the renaissance of good music, as it is arriving!!!!!
Thank you Donna for sharing your enormous versatility !!!!!!
Emilio
smokin donna!
just added it to my favs.

hmm.. an entirely different sound.. interesting!
almost brings me back to the 70s hehe.. definitely reminds me of SOMETHING.. great production though! Everything flows really well together

Absolutely great Donna. Jazz, Fusion both linked as one. You are one versatile musician hun. Love this groove and fabulous composition indeed......Bravo !
Gabriel
OHH this groove!!!!!! OHHHH the guitar playing!!!!. You are certainly a very versatile musician indeed. This song demonstrates your considerable guitar chops INDEED!
I just love this groove.. and your tone puncutates everything just perfect. The one thing i notice most about your playing.. is the space you leave intbetween notes and phrases.. it really makes the notes you do play come across with more depth and power.. I did enjoy the tones you used on this.. from raw blusy strat like tones.. to smoother EJ type tones...Great stuff indeed Donna
Nice playing indeed! Always enjoy good fusion.
MV
Very cool track...has a Jeff Beck vibe to it...some tasty playin fer sure
Man this is sure a change of pace from Sex and Love and Rock and Roll that I heard yesterday. This is a beautifully "chill" piece of jazz funk. Lovely progressions and sweet sweet melody. Loved your playing on this one. Sweet work indeed.
Cheers
Brian
Hey Donna - smokin number and some killer guitar work. Very Impressive.
this was a first attempt to capture the 70's feel of beck and fusion when i wrote this. i wrote all the drums and bass and keys for the song. the drummer had the most problems because it was hard for him to hear the crazy in and out of timing. but it worked and it turned out lovely. it is dedicated to my mother who was from that time. her name was Faith.
much luv your way,
donna
WOW!!! This is quite....AWESOME!!! You are WILD!!! Going for a second listen on this one......WHEW!!! LOVE your playing on this.....since the first electric Return to Forever LP came out, in the 70's, I have been a fusion fanatic.......this is TOP NOTCH and stands on it's own. EXCELLENT JOB!! Your bass player and drummer are VERY TIGHT!!! I say...OUCH!! WHEW!! CHEERS!
