I love this one, my friend. Those are some deliciously gritty guitars, too!
Thank you Jim !The tune was written specifically so I can record my 7 String guitar.

Cooter, thank you! I've drifted back to my music roots with a new album I'm working on. Six songs so far.

Hi Farrell, Not being satisfied with a track and working on it until you are is both the struggle and the beauty of art! I totally get it! The extra effort is so worth it....

song. this song rocks and is crush. I think its powerful and rawness is what appeals to me most. it real and real is where its at. Great Job!
One of your lovely poems came to live once again ... this time Mike took it to another level, and he sure did a good job. Very nice arrangement, a classic Ballroom groove with a bouncing bass ... lovely guitar work by Richard!
Great job!! beautiful feel and emotion throughout!!
Thanks from all of us Lorne!
Great job!! beautiful feel and emotion throughout!!
Thanks Louie-O for the good words on One Tank Of Gas! Cooter did a great job on the lyric!
Farrell
Thanks for listening and commenting Vig, Jim Doug and Louie!
Farrell
Thanks Gary! You know how to make us country rockers all feel good.
Farrell
Great harmonies and the acoustic guitar is immaculately crystal clear, as are the piano and drums too. Great job on song and production!
Thanks again Stephan! It's always a pleasure to collaborate with Mixposure-ites. Cooter's insightful lyric are a perfect fit for this song and Bud's drums pulled it all together. Then David C. Deal's keys and orchestration put it over the top. I'm very proud how this song came out and it all began with conversations right here at Mixposure.
Farrell
My goodness boys! Quite the story in a classic country song sensibility without foregoing excellent and intelligent lyrics. The performance and production is fantastic as well. You set the bar quite high for collabs!
Thanks for the good comments Rusty! Cooter, David, and Bud did some outstanding things with this song.
Farrell
Fine original tune, a very nice pro sounding mix, well crafted lyrics. Great Job!
Thanks Jim, Vig, Doug and Alison for listening and for the kind words!
Farrell and Cooter
Nice! Really like this song! (I have a "None Yet" album too
I haven't heard it yet but I'm playing it tomorrow night. I'll report how good it is when I get some time.
Vic
As did David and Bud. So fine.
(I tried to just edit my previous post for this, but could not find how to do that)
Thanks for all your kind words DCD, Serge, EBS, and Cooter. Cooter and I were just part of the process that was inspired by the others involved. We all appreciate the good words!
Farrell and Cooter
You done good, Farrell!
great production and work...thanks for this one..
Thank you David! Your part in this was a huge boost for the song as was Bud's drums. Farrell
You did an absolutely fantastic job of producing this Farrell. I am so proud to be a small part of the end product. Fantastic!
