in recent years I have heard stories from people of different heritages that when you see a butterfly...who may even appear that he/she is coming near you to visit you....it is the spirit of a loved one who has passed....coming to you to let you know everything is OK....when I see butterflies in my space I think of my brother who passed in 2019 telling me it's OK Moe...I love you....
