What an interesting idea for a song. The lyrics are facinating, each line bringing the story along, each line poetic, but still available. The lines which especially caught me were "The thing I needed most of all was Making you my wife. But caught yp in the mystery Of how things come to pass, I can't but feel had it been so I'd not be here at last". Beautiful. The imagry of "And left here alone like the glass and sandd, Like wind drift silk into the room". Perfect for the feeling of spirit. With the music, I enjoyed the fingerstyle guitar on one side of the mix and the violins on the other, supporting each other and balancing. Fantastic song!!! Thanks for sharing,

John, a very nice & pleasant song. I like this type of acoustic work with a good combination of instruments. The style reminds me of Dan Fogelberg and Gordon Lightfoot.
