No words nor any picture can depict fully the depth of this Love that I have experienced, so divine and perfect, so sweet, deep and sacred ~ this song simply flowed through me at a time when I was experiencing one of my saddest moments one afternoon way back when, and all of a sudden I felt this gentle Presence above and all around my head whose energy exuded the kind of love and warmth I have never experienced in this lifetime so far ~ my Inner Beloved and I merged in a union that is inexpressible and is as powerful as ever till this day. Many of my dear friends love this very special song, that I had gifted to a very dear friend of mine, as a wedding song which indeed it is at so many levels.
Today of All Days is another very special song from the album, "Unborn Star", Which was judged and awarded as a finalist in the "Best Vocal Album of 1999" category by New Age Voice, and which also reached #2 for two consequetive months in the year 1999 in the NAV charts. It is Piyali's first self-composed album in the United States.
All the music in this Album was arranged, played, recorded and mixed at Studio Crash, Philadelphia, by the talented veteran jazz keybordist, the late Dave Falciani, who also Co-produced it. Acoustic Guitar: Ed Hamilton. Saxophone: Chris Farr.
The album contains seven beautifully composed songs, all written and sung by Piyali. This hugely talented vocalist, can easily carry the listener to a higher dimension with her powerful, yet sweet and ethereal voice. Each of the seven songs are as different from one another as night is from day, yet all of them are in alignment with their heartfelt messages of peace, passion and betterment.
