This song was written for Rob Grant (RV bass player and songwriter) when he went through some heath issues that could have been a major challenge the rest of his life. Fortunately he over came the health obstacles and was back with the group as good as new. This song is dedicated to Rob's recovery.
Credits:
Doctor C - song idea, all keys, drums, mix/production.
Gary Carciello - all guitars.
Farrell Jackson - all vocals, lyrics/melody, and outro harmonica.
Rob Grant - bass.

I randomly picked this song as I have a song called Ive done alright and my goodness I had no idea about Rob.
First and foremost I am very glad to hear that Rob has recovered and his bass playing certainly says that he has.
I do believe music has a great spiritual gift for healing not only emotionally but also physically. The song is fantastic. It really demonstrates not only a great driving melody but showcases some very good musicians. All parts are tight and vocals top notch. Great work guys and best wishes to you Rob. Rock on!

Whoa! There's a lot of music left in my ears ... long after the song had faded.
Guys, this fantastic!!! A superbly written song, Farrell. I love the singing melodies; Retro-ish, yet very contemporary. The performances, as always, are absolutely pro. Yes, Dr.C always blows my mind when listening to his rubber fingers flying over the keys. Rob, man, that bass - pump it brother! Gary, as usual - solid shredding there.
Seriously, this one sticks with you! Bravo!
Heinz.

Hey.....what can I say men? RV rocks it out! Very sweet rhythm section punch and vibe, and a ton of musical goodies (all very coordinated) to latch onto. The organ and harmonica solos are excellent. Great piece with everyone totally essential in making this a strong track. Great! ..Blake
Green flashes and green rays are rare optical phenomenon that occur shortly after sunset or before sunrise, when a green spot is visible for a short period of time above the sun, or a green ray shoots up from the sunset point. It is usually observed from a low altitude where there is an unobstructed view of the horizon, such as on the ocean. Jules Verne wrote a book about it in 1882, called Le Rayon Vert (The Green Ray).
We all have similar yet varying musical styles and tastes that are inspired by classical, classic rock, and progressive rock greats of the past. We've found, when combined, our ideas create some interesting musical themes. We hope you find our songs entertaining and interesting also!
Rayon Vert members are:
Gary Carciello - Finland - guitars plus
Influences: Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Rush, Toto, Deep Purple, Eric Johnson, and Frank Marino
Quote: Finally I started to use PC in recording.Things go pretty smoothly now...learning curve was pretty hard....basically I am still a blues based rock player who wants to try new found dimensions of making music.
Rob Grant - USA - bass guitar plus
Influences: Beatles, Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Pendragon, Jazz-Rock Fusion, Jeff Beck, Paul McCartney, Chris Squire, Gentle Giant.
Quote: I am primarily a bass player but love fooling around with all instruments. I was never a songwriter nor a vocalist in the band days. Thanks to technology that's changed. I can build songs and get my ideas across just the way I want them to be and.....all to the best of my personal ability.
DrC - All kinds of Keyboards, production plus
Influences: Classical music, 70's classic rock, and folk music.
Quote: I like the idea of blending different styles, musical techniques and approaches together. Even though I have been fiercely criticized for my "experiments", I do not consider my tracks experimental in any way. I simply believe that the great Bach could sound very well in hard rock, and that music from the Caucasus Mountains and Mississippi delta could merge to form an exciting track.
Farrell Jackson - acoustic guitar, vocals, harmonica, plus
Influences: The Beatles, The Stones, Traffic/ Dave Mason, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, The Allman Bros., and CSNY.
Quote: I love great sounding acoustic guitars, mixed with tasteful electrics, a Hammond B3, melodic vocals, and vibrant harmonies. In my eyes and ears, this recipe makes for some cool great rockin' music!
