POSITIVE VIBES TO NIGEL POTTER

I had been noticing that Nigel Potter, has not been around for quite a while. I checked with his "Site" to see how he was. NIGEL has been a HUGE positive and motivating force for MIXPOSURE, myself and I'm sure he's touched many other lives. Nigel is suffering, from what I understand, a sudden and severe hearing loss. I know he has had some procedures, but as of the latest I've read, he is still in trouble.

I am asking that we send POSITIVE VIBES and THOUGHTS his way, in hopes of him having a positive response to his treatments. Music is such a major force in his life, he could use all of the support we could possibly send.

For those who may not know Nigel, take the time to get to know him, at least through his music....and in time, you'll see what a Defender of All, he is.

Prayers and Hope to Nigel,

Rob Grant

Sending you lots of good vibes from Seattle my dear friend. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, but one thing I do know, is that everything will work out fine when all is said and done. Lots of love my brother ....

Great reminder Rob. I probably should have posted this awhile ago since I have sent a few emails to Nigel to see how he is holding up.
I just see you posted Nigel! Great seeing you my friend. Sorry to hear things have not improved. I think it is just going to take some time. Keep us informed and don't be a stranger. Post some blogs about what is going on or just some deep thought blogs. The Mind of Nigel Potter!!
Thank you Digger and Brian
If kindness is a cure,if caring is a cure, all will be well and we will call it the "Mixposure miracle" LOL
But seriously, thank you is all I can say.
Nigel.
Thanks for reminding me, Rob. I called in on Nigel's site a while ago and heard things weren't great for him. Been meaning to contact him to give him by best wishes. Nigel is an absolute diamond in the world of indie music. Not only an incredible talent, but a really decent, thoughtful and intelligent guy. Many times he has been the calming voice of reason in disputes which have flared. Hope it all turns out well, mate.
Nice post Rob.
Cheers
Brian

Thank you Rob,Henry,Rick,Jim,Farrell
Yes,sadly I am still not yet out of the woods.
I have lost about 80 percent hearing in my right ear due to a condition refered to as "Glue ear"
Basicly the chamber that captures sound is supposed to be a pocket of air,but with glue ear it fills up with fluid.
3 monthes,maybe to heal.
I cannot describe how horrible everything sounds.
Listening or making music is simpoly impossible.
The bass freqs are unbearable.
If that wasn't enough,tinitus is a constant screaming engine,24/7.
Still...
I must be patient and wait for mother nature to cure.
I thank you all sincerly for your good vibes etcetera.
I SOOOOOOOOOO look forward to being able to make music again.
As a word of caution to all,PLEASE be careful under those cans.
As an industry we suffer a greal deal with hearing probs, and the world can feel miserable without music,so for me,just turn them down a notch ok guys?
When I'm back,you'l know
Thank you.
Nigel.
Thank you Brian,Gabriel and Gina
Patience is definately NOT my strong point
Many thanks.
Nigel
I'm sending you some healing thoughts Nigel......Best wishes and get well my friend.
