I had this song on the back burner for a while. Didn't have a theme for it. Last night, whilst trying to sleep, of course some lyrics popped into my head. I knew if I didn't get up and write them down, I'd forget them. So I got out of bed and wrote all the lyrics. Got up late morning and the same problem. If I don't record this now, I'll forget how it goes ;-)

The main guitar lick really drives the song along and the lyric theme matches the music well. I like the change up and where the chords go for the guitar solo. I could see the haze and smell the gun powder in the air. Well done cuz!

Used to play in many semi-pro bands in 70s, played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. Have worked with Trevor Thornton - Drummer (Saxon, Asia), Ray Brookes - Multi instrumentalist and songwriter (Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Short - Singer/songwriter (Kathy & the Short-List), Fred White - Drummer, Carol Sue - Singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ern and The TrueVulgarian - Singer/songwriters, Paul Rainbird (band mate from early bands) and Ricky Moore (Songwriter and guitarist). Played Windsor free festival on same billing as Hawkwind and met the late great lemmy. In the 80s played in "Shoot the Butler" who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road. Back to gigging for a while, then the studio for a cassette release called "Final Curtain" by Flix. Wilderness for 10 years,. Now I am back writing and producing my own stuff. Cuts down on band disagreements :D
