It might have some funk to it but it's more than that...maybe a funk/rock fusion. Yeah that's it and I'm sticking to my story, lol. I dig that deep, effected bass (chorus?). That's some top shelf guitar work, Ron. All the vocals, lead and backing, go perfectly with the music. A real winner Cuz!

Used to play in many semi-pro bands in 70s, played bass for David Jackson (Van Der Graaf Generator) on some of his demo work. Have worked with Trevor Thornton - Drummer (Saxon, Asia), Ray Brookes - Multi instrumentalist and songwriter (Rory Gallagher Band), Kathy Short - Singer/songwriter (Kathy & the Short-List), Fred White - Drummer, Carol Sue - Singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ern and The TrueVulgarian - Singer/songwriters, Paul Rainbird (band mate from early bands) and Ricky Moore (Songwriter and guitarist). Played Windsor free festival on same billing as Hawkwind and met the late great lemmy. In the 80s played in "Shoot the Butler" who released an indie album, cut at Abbey Road. Back to gigging for a while, then the studio for a cassette release called "Final Curtain" by Flix. Wilderness for 10 years,. Now I am back writing and producing my own stuff. Cuts down on band disagreements :D
Thanks to @farrell-jackson @lodato and @moequinn and yes, that is a chorus pedal used on the bass Farrell
