I'm proposing a "Suggestion Box" blog to address questions and concerns about the site.
My first suggestion is as follows: I think it would be a real good idea to provide more formal notification when a radio show is being cancelled. I know sometimes the cancellation is due to some kind of last minute technical problem, but in most instances, it's known relatively early on that a radio show won't take place. Some of the DJ's are real good about providing advance notice while others don't and you're left to find out the show has been canceled when you logon and discover you're the only person in chat.
Here's wishing all my wonderfully talented and creative friends at Mixposure a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! If it's true things improve with age (and, admittedly, I have my doubts... hehe) we can all expect some wonderful new tunes in the upcoming year! We hope Santa brings you that new guitar, keyboard, drum kit or kazoo. Make music and make someone happy this holiday season! That's what we plan to do!

Just wanted to extend a Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and fellow artists here at Mixposure. I have to suggest however that creating a new tune on a full stomach is not easily done. Today's for family, food and football, along with a possible free live performance provided by none other than you, (but not necessarily in that order). We can write a song about it tomorrow....

Title track from the new album by the TrueVulgarians, "A Reason to Walk in the Rain"! Hopefully the remainder of the album will be posted in the upcoming months as we head into the new year. Song is meant to be food for thought...
Happy to announce the release of our newest song, "As Good As It Gets", yet another love song. Check it out!

Here's our entry for the Halloween song contest. It's a silly bluesy number called, "Stone-Cold Zombie Man" written from the perspective of a zombie. Hope you all like it. It was a lot of fun doing it for the contest! Here's the link... http://www.mixposure.com/the-truevulgarians/audio/15554/stone-cold-zombie-man
The latest tune by The TrueVulgarians, written, produced and performed by Bill Thompson. Kind of a tribute to songwriters everywhere! Check it out.

Not that there's a direct tie-in to the independent music scene, but by mere coincidence, I suspect many of the wonderful friends I've made at Mixposure.com might be interested to know that it's National Drink Beer Day! Not that you need an excuse, but this is one of the better ones I've encountered to justify getting blitzed...
