I just wanted to thank everyone for their Halloween 2013 Song Submissions. There were some awesome tunes submitted! 

The one problem I am having is the next site tune is typically the Holiday Song Submission. I heard some people asking about doing a Same Sont Title Madness though. So the question becomes, do both? Would it be better to make the Holiday Tune a Same Song Title Madness?

For those of you that are new to Mixposure, the Same Song Title works like this. We get members suggesting song titles and then we vote on a winner. Then everyone creates a song based around that title in any genre you like. The end result is numerous song styles around a central theme. 

What do you guys think?

Awhile back we had an issue with the audio players and Windows 8 and the only work around was compatibility mode. There were some changes yesterday that should resolve that issue. If anyone out there is using Windows 8 can you please let us know if you are running into any issues now?

The new forum is in. Just click the forum link in the menu. We still need to try and bring in the 100,000+ posts from the old forum so that will be attempted shortly. 

While I loved the old forums, we really wanted something that integrated well with what we have and this seems to do the trick!

Just a heads up that tomorrow there will be some site upgrades and we will be down for maintenance for a short while. I am not sure of the exact time but I am thinking mid morning PST.

The Mixposure.com Song for the Week goes to Dramatique for the tune Afterlife. This is a song submission for the Halloween! This may be the first Hip Hop/Rap tune to take the Song of the Week and this track is superb. Nicely done!!
