<span style="font-size: small;">Hey Everyone! <br /><br />Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of the members in the USA. We may be on some shakey ground right now as a country but we still have a lot of things to be thankful for. <br /><br />Personally I have a beautiful wife, who I absolutely adore, who tolerates me and all of the time I put into this site and still stays by my side. WildCherry you are the best! Not to mention my two daughters who keep me laughing and crying a lot all in the same day. I know many of you have been there before when they find something they shouldn't have like markers, makeup or crayons and decide to help decorate the house with some artwork. I will be repainting some areas this weekend. <br /><br />Thanks to all of the moderators and admin here who do a remarkable yet thankless job. I wish I could do more for you guys. It is never easy to moderate any website and it is impossible to try and make 100% of the members happy 100% of the time. You guys do a wonderful job and for that I will be forever thankful. <br /><br />To the DJ's and Genre Spotlight hosts you guys rock! Thanks for giving up your time to entertain the rest of us. I know you could be writing music or doing something else with your time. Thanks for being a part of the Mixposure Team!<br /><br />Lastly to all the Mixposure members here. Thank you for being a part of this community and sharing not only your music but your knowledge as well. We have a lot of changes coming up so I hope you all stick around and help us grow. The talent here is by far the best I have heard on any site. <br /><br />So as you can see, I have a lot to be thankful for. I have had this come up in the past so I thought I would make mention of it. Have you ever clicked on your name and instead of going to YOUR page you go to the search artist page instead? Kind of like your page had been deleted. Fear not my fellow Mixposure Musician, the fix is easy. <br /><br />All you need to do is go into your control panel, click on "Your Profile" on the top menu and then click "Rebuild Your Profile". This rebuilds your page and clears the cache on it. <br /><br />You should now be able to click on your username link and go directly to your page.

"A Sunday Vibe with Wim" is hosted live from Holland in Europe every sunday from 20.00/22.00 Europe / USA EST 2/4PM ! The show that is scheduled for European listeners ! Excellent to wave goodbye to another weekend that's gone, and to get away from all that preconditioned TV crap! Of course other parts of the world are more than welcome!

Talk N Rock From the Snow Banks with your host the Polar Bear (Ked) will be live today from 6:30pm to 9:30pm EST.
Sunday Talk n Rock will be primarily a TALK show with news and information from the world of Mixposure. Show segments include a review of the weeks happenings on Mix, some news and information from the newest Mix artists and GearTalk for the gear heads. As the show matures new features will be added in.

It may be a bit early but I wanted to start putting this togther. Every year Mixposure does several "site" songs. This time of year it wass the Halloween Songs and now the Holiday Song Submissions. Once we hit 2009 we will get back into the Same Song Title Madness as well as a few other site specific songs. <br /><br />For the Holiday Songs it can be any genre you like so have some fun. Please remember to use a Genre of Holiday and I will update the radio station daily. If you have any questions, please ask! Also remeber that the Holiday Seasn can get very busy very fast so start early. Good Morning!<br /><br />Mixposure has been testing a few different ad companies and one we recently tried was called Clicksor. From the initial testing I had some problems but they assured me they had fixed everything. I do not mind ad banners or text ads on the site but I will not have popups, text mouse over ads or anything that will just get in the way. This is a music site not a ad factory. <br /><br />That being said I kept getting text ads links, similar to what you see on Foxnews.com and it was driving me nuts so I canceled the ads. They sent me an email and said they turned off that functionality behind the scenes so I put them back in. <br /><br />Ked mentioned to me that he was getting virus warnings on the site and Mike was getting them also. I scanned the server but we were clean. In discussing this with Mike last night I said it could only be from the Clicksor so I removed the ads. Mike no longer had any issues. It appears what was going on was even though we were only supposed to have text ads and banner ads, Clicksor allowed an advertiser to do a popup which looked like real AV warnings but in actuality it was just to lead you to their site if you clicked the "warning".<br /><br />Our apologies for the issue and Clicksor has been tossed into the waste basket. If you did see these popups, you will not see them again.<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Dazed <br />

Hey everyone! Sorry for the spam but I wanted to let everyone know that on your artist page, you will now see a link for Widgets. What are Widgets? In a nutshell, just promotional material for you. There are 3 flash players there now as well as an image to link back to your site. You can put these on your personal sites to stream your music on Mixposure. We will be adding more down the road but for now these will do.<br /><br />I wanted to say a quick thank you to our DJ's for all of the time and effort they put into their shows.
