Paul is obviously well known for his amazing guitars but Paul also happens to be a fantastic musician in his own right. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">From his bio...</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Paul Reed Smith (founder of PRS Guitars) and Derek St Holmes (former guitarist for Ted Nugent) spent two years writing these songs with Mike Ault and, Gary and Greg Grainger contributing. The CD is centered around Derek's voice, the powerful Grainger Brother's rythym section and Michael and Paul's guitar teamwork. Derek has an international reputation for being one of the best voices in rock. Basic tracks were recorded live at the Mechanic Theatre in Baltimore and mixed at Paul’s studio and mastered by Bob Ludwig, owner of Gateway Mastering.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Paul Reed Smith is known as a guitar maker and leader of PRS Guitars. What is not commonly known is that Paul is a musician, songwriter and studio owner. Throughout his journey to find the ultimate tone in his guitars, a large number of extraordinary musicians have gravitated to playing music with him. In the beginning, this was for national music trade and guitar shows, music stores, guitar clinics and PRS Guitar promotional events. The goal was to sell guitars and let people know the head of the company could play. All the people joining him were professional musicians, but Paul doesn't consider himself a pro musician. <span style="font-size: medium; color: #ff0000;">Last night was an amazing night on Mix Radio. Mike presented Brian Futch in the Center Stage Presentation. The Chat room was packed, I think we hit some all time high numbers and the mood was electrifying. <br /><br />Aside from the fantastic music that was played before and after the CSP, Brian Futch's CSP stole the show. WildHoneyPie delivered an intro that would make most celebrities jealous. Once Brian stepped up to the mic, it was a special treat. Brian is just an amazing songwriter and musician. If you missed the show last night, listen to the rebroadcast and you will see why this was remarkable. Here is the context of the post - I was thinking about this today and thought I would try this. There are many fantastic musicians on Mixposure but I always find a few songs that really stand out to me that end up on my iPod. So what I want to do is this. Please post your favorite song on the site right now as well as a link to the artist and the play song link. The play link can be found under the Song Info button by the song. Use the BBCode!
Also it CAN'T BE YOUR OWN MUSIC!!

<span style="font-size: small;">I am sure many of you feel the same, everyone hates Mondays! However I will say that the previous week on Mixposure was pretty awesome! There were more than a handful of site changes with the addition of Interviews by Jim as well as Mike putting all of the Mixposure Center Stage Presentations together in one location. These are fantastic opportunities to get to know the Mixposure members better as well as provide some additional exposure of their music.<br /><br />The Halloween Songs are popping up all over. We have over 30 on the main page now. As a Reminder, Kephas will be doing a Halloween Show on Mix Radio on the 31st so please tune in. He will be playing all of the Halloween tunes as well as some unexpected surprises. <br /><br />Mixposure as a whole is showing some amazing growth so thank you everyone for helping to spread the word! In the month of October we doubled and even tripled some statistics like Number of Visits and Unique Visitors to the site. The stats were great before so this is just putting a huge smile on my face. <br /><br />Lastly, we have also had a lot of people upgrade to Premium Subscriptions.
