Influenced by folk music, Alison's music is very relaxed and easy to listen to. She began her professional career after high school with the music duo of Watson and Reynolds. That group eventually grew into a five piece band that toured all over Canada. She left Canada in the early 80's to return to her home in Texas. She formed another band, Tularosa which played in the area for several years and went back to school at UTEP to further her cello studies. She has played the cello in various symphony orchestras in Texas, California and New Mexico but her love has always been singing and playing guitar. She took a break from music to raise her two children and now has returned to start her career anew. Several years ago she started a cello quartet, La Cella Bella , which specializes in arrangements of popular songs. They have become very popular in the area for weddings (find La Cella Bella at www.lacellabella.com) Now she has a new duo called ARDK (Alison Reynolds and Deborah Kuhn.) They play a large variety of covers from Dylan to REM as well as many original songs written by Alison. Visit her web site at www.alisonreynoldsmusic.com
