what can i say... i have been here and not really been here this past few weeks...
but i thought i would put another blog entry in anyway. why..? i have no idea... its not like i have done anything new for ages.
i did a collab with Jerry Miller (from SC) which i thought was pretty good, and if i can be bothered to bounce it as a 192 mp3... i will pop it on the page for a short while.

other than that...? not much... i was in a meeting at work today, and my credit for initiating and reviewing the literature for a project was completely disregarded... it has been stolen..!!
i think this is because i am working my notice there, and they just thought they could... bastards..!! they have taken me off the project team.

i hate them all..!!!!!!!!!

Just getting started here at Imusicscene. I have a small studio and would be willing to mix songs for artists of most genre. My background is live music recording and mixing but I am up for anything. More than happy to help out new artists looking to get their music out to the masses..

When you log into your control panel now, everyone will see the below. <br /></font></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><font size="3"><strong>Song Reviews!</strong> - There has been a lot of discussion about song reviews here at iMS lately. Most artists want their songs reviewed. Some feedback on the work we have done is always nice from our peers. Some artists though just want a place to host their songs so family and friends can listen. The decision is up to you in regards to song reviews though. If you listen to some of the songs on iMS and like them, let the artist know their work was appreciated. If you have advice, please remember to be constructive. Telling someone their song &quot;Sucks&quot; accomplishes nothing. I think of it like a job review. Tell people what they are doing well and then let them know a few things that could be improved upon. Remember, the majority of musicians on here are not professional audio engineers or studio musicians. We all started somewhere so let&#39;s help each other grow as artists! </font></p><p><font size="3">I want to thank each of you for being a part of iMusicScene. The caliber of talent on this site amazes me and just continues getting better. <p>Hey Guys!</p><p>You may have noticed the main page here is a bit different. I wanted to make sure we were doing what is right for our members. Every now and then we had members posting more than 1 blog, excessively long blogs or even several songs at once. </p><p>The problem some of the existing members had was it bumped their blog or song off the main page. What I did was to removed all songs off the main page and we have the flashing banner or the link in the top right now. Once you click either one, you will get the most recent 15 plus at the bottom you will see Next Page to see the next 15. This should work out a lot better.</p><p>As for the blogs, we increased the number of blogs and reviews on the main page. We also limited the amount of text on the blogs and you can click the More Button to read the rest. </p><p>Hopefully this will help!</p><p>Dazed</p>

<p>In your Control Panel under &quot;Your Site&quot; is a link called Statistics, When you first open the page you will get Page Statistics and a numeric value. This page shows the breakdown for how many times and where your site has been accessed. <br /><br />At the top you will see links for Song Stats, Video Stats, Phot Stats, Sales Stats, Radio Statio&nbsp; and Video Channel. Click any of these to see your stats. The Radio Station Stats also show what stations your music is on and how many plays the song has received. The Video Channel stats will only show the videos that have been uploaded to the site. We can&#39;t track YouTube or other offsite Videos.</p>

I've received two pieces of great news today, involving members of ims.

Firstly Alexis Van Eeckhout has become a proud grandfather again with the birth of Julian born 18 April, 2008. Alexis assures me that mother and child are both well, although as Julian took his time in coming the grandparents are a bit stressed.

Secondly, Corrado Rossi posted a blog on myspace today celebrating that his composition "Where" had been chosen the Best Classical Song for 2007 on IACmusic.com. Here's the text of Corrado's blog:
