This is very much a change of pace for me. It's very mellow and has a fairly country feel to it. The story behind it is in the info section if you're interested. It's very much a "lyric-based" song. Unfortunately, in terms of pitching it's too long, but blowed if I can work out how to shorten if.
Cheers

Mudflaps. hmm..
As some of you may have realized, when you upload a song the sort order is Oldest to Newest. So if you have 4 pages of music, your new song will be buried on page 4. Personally, when someone visits my page, I prefer the newer songs to appear first. In your control panel under Songs you will see Arrange Songs. From here you can highlight a song and move it up or down in the order. Just remember when you are done to click the Change Order Button at the bottom to make your changes permanent.
Just thought I would post this. Its a video of me playing along to a BT which is now available in the jam section. Maybe others can do a video of their own an post!
Anyway, here's the link for the video.

GUARDIANS OF THE GROOVE " LIVE"
LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO MY FUNK BAND "GUARDIANS OF THE GROOVE".
A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE REQUESTED TO HEAR MORE "LIVE DICARLO" TRACKS, SO HERE YOU GO.
THIS IS WHAT I DO WHEN I`M NOT WORKING IN THE STUDIO. :D
ONE OF THE BEST FUNK BANDS I`VE EVER HEARD OR HAD THE PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.
THIS IS AN EDITED VERSION, OF THE 20 MINUTE VERSION.
HOPE YOU ENJOY IT. :D
BAND MEMBERS.
CRAIG BURTON; LEAD VOCAL, TONY HURDLE; TROMBONE, FUASI ABDUL KALIQ; SAX, DANIEL; TRUMPET, ARENO ANNUKU; GUITAR, RAMANI KRISHNA; 7 STRING OVERWATER BASS, SAMBA SOCK; PERCUSSION, DICARLO; DRUMS
RECORDED LIVE WITH WAVLAB ON A NOTEBOOK IN STEREO BY THE SOUNDMAN JULY 2005.
MASTERED BY DICARLO FOR ONLINE MIXING AND MASTERING.COM
NOTE; THIS IS JUST A TEST MASTER.
DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE ORIGINAL MIX WASN`T THAT GREAT, AND THE DRUMS AND BASS WERE RECORDED TOO LOW, I HAD TO WORK WITH THE EQ`S TO GET THE BASS AND DRUMS UP TO A DECENT LEVEL.
THIS WAS A DIFFICULT PROCESS, BECAUSE THE HORNS AND THE SNARE DRUM ARE NEARLY THE SAME FREQUENCIES, SO IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO BRING UP THE SNARE WITHOUT EFFECTING THE HORNS, ESPECIALLY THE TROMBONE.
BUT I MANAGED TO BRING BOTH THE BASS AND DRUMS UP TO WHERE THEY SOUND PRETTY GOOD.
I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE MIXED THIS, BUT YOU CAN`T PLAY DRUMS IN A BAND AND MIX AT THE SAME TIME. :D LOL
HAVE A LISTEN, EVEN IF YOU DON`T REVIEW IT, BECAUSE IT`S A GREAT BAND!!!!!!!!!! :D
<p>The new flasjh players are installed on the Projam Theme. They are also included on the offsite links that you will find on the Projam, Cobalt and Sage Themes. Anyone not on those themes, it is really suggestested you move to the newer themes! We are working out a few bugs still but they are good to use.</p><p>The Code Snippets in Projam now have the players listed if you want to use them on myspace. </p><p><font color="#ff0000">**Update**</font> I just changed the snippets on Sage and Cobalt to now have the new players. The iPod style flash player will remain on the side of the page but the snippets will be the new players. </p><p>Example </p><p><a href="#" onclick="window.open('http://imusicscene.com/index.php?t=audio_player&band_id=10&song_id=1807','iMusicScene','width=520,top=0,left=0,resizable,scrollbars,height=210'); return false;">Instrumental Jam</a></p><p>and MySpace/Tagworld you can choose between the two... http://www.imusicscene.com/myspace.html </p><p> </p><p>If you have posted one of the new players on your MySpace or Tagworld site, please post a link on here. Hi All
Well, I think its about time we had another guitar jam. I've uploaded a track for all to post their musings on, called 'Along came a jam'.
So come on fellow guitarist, come and have a bash! Its a great way to let off steam and hear some different ideas. I've already done mine!

<p>Just wanted to update everyone on the popup players. On the Projam Theme the links are done. On your song page, just click the <em>i </em>and you will see the 4 boxes. The first 2 I think I am going to remove. Those use the listeners player of choice. The bottom two will be the HTML or BBCode links for forums that do not allow HTML. I would always suggest using the HTML link if possible. Here is an example using Chrickon's song. I actually sent an email to Michael Molenda from Guitar Player Magazine to listen to this tune for his article.</p><p> <a href="#" onclick="window.open('http://imusicscene.com/index.php?t=audio_player&band_id=29&song_id=4668','TestWindow','width=350,top=0,left=0,resizable,scrollbars,height=350'); return false;">Energy - for Rob</a>. </p><p>The Sage and Cobalt themes have the links as well but I am going to play with them a bit more since I do not like how they are setup yet. </p><p>I should have new Flash Players this week so the iPod player will be replaced a nicer one with links to the site and your artist page. </p><p>Hope you guys like this feature! </p><p>Dazed</p>
