I think its a great song, especially the way it all fits together. The bassline and percission is wonderfully intricate and precise. Thanks for that!

Some great melodies throughout. The double time change caught me off guard but it works! Your vocal and lyrics are the selling point for me. That was a cool and unexpected guitar solo. Nicely done!

A bit different compared to some of your other songs Randy. I do like your choice of notes in the cascading sections of the song...they give it a darker vibe. Great, slow...

This is a sweet ,beautiful composed song.Outstanding songwriting ,,,with great vocals that seem to lift this song to an elevated status..... Superb work.... LM..... Thank you for sharing this !! PEACE,
Larry T.....
i have gotten lazy. so i don't write many reviews. but this is simply stellar. there is a place for beautiful music and there are those of us who appreciate it. maybe someday you will be recognized for the true talent you are. just wait a while.
WOW!! I am blown away by this little track!!! I can only echo what most here already have said! WONDERFUL piece of music. Love the vocals, the melody, the arrangement. Just everything! Another tune for my show this Saturday!
Cheers.
Mike
What a wonderful musical genre to create: "sunny songs for rainy afternoons". And this track fits that to a T. Lovely acoustic work sets the scene before some absolutely gorgeous vocals enter the scene. This is a wonderful piece of writing and performance. The harmonies (both female and male) are beautifully performed. The phrasing of the lyrics is just delightful.....there's a spot in the second verse where you hold a rest longer than expected which has the effect of "pain" being sung on the downbeat. That's spine tingling writing and singing. The chorus is just superb. The short phrase "wait awhile" followed by a long rest really builds a sense of tension. Love the guitar work in the instrumental section. While I was writing about the "pain" bit above (on about the 5th listen) I got distracted and failed to mention the middle 8. The sparse repeated lyrics in this section, particularly with the tightness of the harmonies are just so emotive. THis really is a wonderful piece of music. Exquisite writing, superb performance and absolutely top notch production. Got to add this to favs and head over to the forum to tell the masses. Thanks for sharing this. I'm taking the download with glee. Will be back to hear more.
Cheers
Brian
BTW sorry for getting the song title wrong in your Fan Page.
Very NICE!!! It's been a while.....AGREED, LEX!!! When I saw LM.....I knew I'd like it and looked forward to my listen.....LOVE the Vocals. This is a well produced, written, performed track. GREAT JOB, GUYS!!
Rob
To think that some folks at Tuneflow thought you were a Mister Perfect alias! This is - like all of your work - top shelf and professional and tastefully done. Fine guitar work and super vocals by both of you. Quality is assured when the Lazy Mouse name is on the song.
Thank you all so much for your reviews. They really mean a lot to us.
Cheers
Richard and Maria
