The beginning of the song had me thinking I clicked the wrong page — soft and gentle opening, almost majestic, Ron.
Love how that solo just soars.

Big‑time sounding good, Booby.
Always great hearing some real outlaw country.

One of the longest songs I’ve ever heard.
Pretty sure I aged a full presidential term listening to it.

A bit of a different style from you, Randy. But still some very fine guitar picking with tone and sustain galore!

I don't owe you anything for this session, do I? Lol! :o)
Thanks so much Corrado. This was so fun to do, as all our tunes been, different but all retain their own direction, emphasis and mood so well. Couldn't ask for a better pianist to make it happen. Amazing, you make it come around so effortlessly incredible to round the music off and highlight that touch you have. Thanks my friend.
Thanks to everyone for the so kind review guys!
It's always a pleasure playing with my good friend Vesa and... another Pina Colada, please! LOL!
Thnaks RTB and Holley for the cool kind comments. Seems like we did put you in tropical mood. One more Cuban style margarita for the lad at table 5 waitress. Yeah Holley, mmmm? figure steel drums would be neat. Maybe even some Jamaican percussion instrument, would have to be subtle though.
Appreciation from Corrado & I.
Hey, (as I bend down to pick up my lei) if you see my waitress tell her my cuba-libra needs topping up, and, ask the band to play another half-dozen or so tunes. Thanks.
I feel like I am in Hawaii when I hear this! All you need is a Uke or some steel drums for final touch. Very nice jazzy bluees touch to this. A very cool sound!! LOVE IT!!
Very cool and relaxed piece. Love the summery feel! beautiful playing, lovely chords. Reminded me slightly of Arthur Lyman who was influential in the 'Exotica/ lounge' movement of the 60's (I think!) Love it!!
Cheers
Richard
Got my hoola skirt on Vesa, cool pina colada drink in my hand, and the sea lapping round my feet! This has such a sweet sound, you almost get a feel of too many pina colada's in the ole musicians too as they play!! LOL... Must be all that swaying. Love the mandolin and steel guitar. Wishing you well as always, Melsi
Thank you kindly for the reviews/comments for a tune we expect wll be a hit when Corrado & I go on our Polyenisian Lounge tour. Don Hoe, eat your heart out, lol, if you're still kickin' around,-bless your soul, we still love your influence, we're coming to Hawaii. May bring Ry Cooder as our warm up act.
Well a third spin around, don't know if it is the rum and coke, or the hypnotic affect of this great relaxing tune, love the mandolin in there, all the sounds of the far east south seas maybe, I see Paul Gaugin painting on the beach...and friend bananas ad a nice touch with this, don't fall out of the coconut tree Vesa...lol
