First off this is a cool chord progression. A good one to sing and do lead work over top of. I like the doubled octave vocals and the outro guitar soloing. Nice work, Paul!

i read what it was about. nothing much I can say about that. the mix itself is very good, very well produced.
I do think this is one of my favorites. Masterfully done. Pulls on the heartstrings.....
This song is very classy. Beautiful piano playing. I was wondering where you were going to take it. Was not sure if it was going to be full scale distortion or tame. Either would have worked I think. Vocals are superb and I love the layers. Not sure about the guitar solo. It starts off excellent but then I think the effects get in the way around 5:30 or so.

;p I hear ya on the solo. Actually I am doubling the lead trying to emulate all the bends. Was going for more a Johnny Greenwood/Radiohead noisy solo as opposed to a more refined and articulated one. Really, you are 100x better a guitar player than I will ever be; you have a refined technique and I am more of the Jimmy Page Slop School player. I never really work out any solos I just hit record and play LOL and whatever happens, happens. I spent 3 months recording the piano parts and went through 3 different pianos until I found one ( antique ) that worked for the recording... so I was not going to do the same for the solo ;p
