<p>This is a rockin' song and lyric that Rob wrote for the same title song challenge. It's been reworked slightly (shortened) and remixed to put the Rayon Vert spin on it. I'm so glad this song will be included on the upcoming Rayon Vert CD because it's a mover and a shaker!</p><p>If you like a driving rocking sound then Rob has written a good one for you!</p><p>Songwriting and thunderous bass provided by Rob Grant.</p><p>All the smokin' guitars are done by Gary Carciello.</p><p>DrC has added his wonderful keys and production skills.</p><p>Farrell Jackson - all vocals and harmonica.</p><p>Enjoy!</p><p>Farrell for Rayon Vert</p>
<p>Gone is Innoncence</p><p>This is a new mix and we've shortened the song some. It was quite lengthy at 6:37 so a minute or so was shaved off.</p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;">When DrC first presented this song idea and chord structure to me....it was beautiful. I fell in love with the sound. It was one of those rare moments where I heard the melody immediately and jotted down the basic lyric in about 15 minutes. I made a quick demo of my lyric/melody idea and sent it back to DrC for comments. He liked what he'd heard and asked if I'd be interested in also adding an acoustic guitar intro and playing acoustic throughout. I jumped at the opportunity! <br /><br />At this point I had no idea where Gary and Rob might be with this song but luckily they were onboard and putting their parts together and........fine contributions they are! Gary's guitar will make you weep and Rob's bass will shake you awake while staying smooth in the context of a ballad.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">We hope you enjoy our remixed prog. rock ballad!</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Farrell for Rayon Vert</span><br /></span></p>
