Wicked cool soundscape bouncing through my headphones! The drums are splendid and the rhythm super tight. Nigles lead guitar work, as always spot on! The production work was spotless.
A super collaboration!!
JERRY ?? MAN IS THAT YOU?

As he does :)
Thanks from Me and Nigel for the comment and the listen.

Definitely picking up that early Floyd here! Very psychedelic track indeed. Cool delays and other ambient (even whale-like) guitar effects!
I think i saw a whale swimming in the mix Gary :)) Glad you heard early floyd in this - i think it is nigels guitar that makes that phsycadelic component
Cheers man
Thanks

Don't know how it took me so long to listen to this, such a deep soundscape, raw and smooth textures, takes me back to some memory way, way back when the bands others have named here were filling the airwaves and people's record collections. Creating atmosphere that good with only guitars, well I can't imagine even trying it. Great playing, and wonderful conception, both of you guys. Wonderful.
Glad you found this Chris - it is a deep soundscape and Nigel added some wonderful leads with some slidey sounds and then that hard rocking lead - so much fun to send off an acoustic strumming song and have this come back to me....one of my all time fave collabs. bring back the 70's rock i say lol
Thanks
Pete

Guys, love the sound. When two fantastic musician meld together it creates magic, and this is magical. Nigel's guitar expresses so much emotion with no extra, unnecessary notes.
Great to have Nigel jam away over this - he always adds so much atmosphere - thanks fir the listen - much appreciated.

Boy!!! This is it!!..so awesome! You know how much I took from you both...sure did.
I hear ya Dace man - i like this a lot...it is just all me and nigel and quite powerful in places with some lighter shades as well. I think we all learn and take on the feel of others then put out our version of what we feel and that is what it is all about.
Love ya man

Yes Nigel is a great musician and guitarist. Nice collaboration between you two! I can hear the Hawkwind influence in Nigel's lead coming through loud and clear....I remember Nigel saying his cousin was one of the bass players for Hawkwind. Enjoyed it!

Farrell
Hi Farrell - thank you for dropping by for the listen...so happy to have Nigel on this with all his background in music shining through - he really lets loose and has the subtlety in there as well - thanks
I think Nigel does/did have a close association with HAWKWIND

Pete and Nigel, this is glorious! Great to hear the two of you soar. Not only is it like old times, but it's very much like good times right now.
Always a delight to have you come and listen Jim
Glad you liked it - it was in the hidden vault kept in the basement under the stairs and guarded by large leopards with sabre teeth so glad i found it :)) Nigel certainly lets the puppies outta the cage on this one...love to hear you proper guitarists play - it makes my songs so so sooo much better....like that Walk a mile in my shoes we did...LOVE THAT SONG
Cheers

Very spacey feel from Nigel's guitarwork. The track had a Floyd-like feel circa the Saucerful of Secrets era. Nice work.
Thanks Brian for the listen - I went and refreshed my memory in pf saucer full of secrets and you are spot on - Syd Barrett was a big influence on that album and Nigel's guitars have a similar sound - when o found this i thought ohhhh a lost gem :-) my rhythms and AC leads were sparse and a little boring and Nigel saw or heard something I didn't expect :-)

Thanks to @red-sheppen for leading me here to listen to I've been told is an iconic musician, Nigel... and when I hear his music it all makes sense! What a terrific tune with such cool change ups, production and just a touch of being a tad surreal... in a very unique and outstanding way!! Carried away with it indeed! πŸŽΆπŸ’«πŸŽΌ
Thanks Tricia
I always loved sending Nigel a song to add to..never disappointed and always blown away. This one he added the more elec leads and really got it going...soft to savage to spacey....i wish i could play leads like that :)) Love the reverse leads
