Susan Ssun comes from a long line of musicians, the most notable, Roy Hatchard, was inducted into the BC Country Music Hall of Fame in the 1990's. She was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, and spent several years living in Saskatchewan, where her music emerged, and was heavily influenced by the landscape, the people and stories imbedded there. Upon her return to the west coast, and bringing a fresh, contemporary perspective and interpretation, her music continues to be inspired by these same engaging influences.
