Chris has been around Mix since the early days and is just an amazing musician.</p><div class="head-180">Biography</div><p>After a long time band performance it was time to look forward for my inspiration into instrumental music and beyond. <p><span style="font-size: medium;">First of all, apologies about the Flash players and the start stop thing. I have been looking at the Flash Forum and it looks like they have a fix and they are testing it out. Hopefully it will be released soon. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">The testing on the new site is going well and with luck we will be releasing in the next few weeks. I am looking for a new host now and we may change our host first and get that out of the way. Then we can change the site over. I am a classically trained percussionist turned self taught guitar hack...! <p><span style="font-size: medium;">Hey Everyone! I am hearing that there are some issue with our Flash Players and Internet Explorer. We are looking into the issue but in the mean time, please use Firefox or Chrome. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">This issue is kind of odd because we have not mad any changes to the site. As most of you have read, we will be revamping the entire site with pretty much all new code in the next month or so. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Our apologies for the issue but please know that we are working on trying to resolve it.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">The odd thing is that it appears to be an issue only on this site. I have played with such people as Roy Clark, Jana Jae, Reba McEntire's guitar player, little brother of Brooks and Dunn's guitar player, and many others. I've been on the radio and TV and was close to a record deal. But, I finally just got pissed off at the music business in general, and especially country music. Country isn't country anymore and people don't seem to know what country is these days. Also, being on the road constantly really wears you down. I wanted to go fishing or hang out with my friends but couldn't because I always had somewhere I had to be. When I finally quit, I could look at my schedule and see where I was going to be two years ahead. That's just ridiculous! So, I quit. I still have a lot of my equipment though. I have 24 guitars, 5 amps, a bass, and a bunch of PA equipment. So, maybe one of these days I'll start up again, but on my own terms this time.</p><p><span style="color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline;">A note about my music.</span> If you are looking for a polished studio sound, you won't find it here. I don't have fancy recording equipment and choose, at the moment, to not have a band. It's just me. My music is rough, raw, and real. But I ask you to <span style="text-decoration: underline;">really</span> listen to the songs. I promise that my songs are truthful, honest, and from the heart. However, I believe this is the core of music. Everybody should put themselves out there like this. Because that's what I'm doing.....putting myself out there. I've made many recordings in studios when I was playing full time. But there are no studios involved in my music now. No studios to hide mistakes or make a song "pretty" or have the perfect mix to fool the listener's ear into believing they like what they here. My music is raw but <span style="text-decoration: underline;">very</span> honest.</p><p>If you want to know me......just listen to my songs. Every song is true and has actually happened at some point in my life. <p>I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be releasing a new Mixposure version in the not so distant future. The overall look will be pretty much the same so no need to get upset that we are recreating the wheel or making drastic Facebook like changes. I am testing out the new layout now and from what I see you guys are going to love it. It is much easier to use and will be a lot more intuitive.</p><p>As an example, we will be back on one server. This was not a huge deal because you could always use the mixposure.com/artist_name vs www2.mixposure.com/artist_name. I was just not a huge fan of the www2 so I am glad that will be gone.</p><p>On the artist page, if you want to add a new song, once logged in you will see a plus (+) button. Just click the plus button to add a new song to your page. There will be a "x" to delete it or an "o" to update it.</p><p><br />If you want to change your artist image, while logged in, just click it. You will then get the screen to change it.</p><p>You will also be able to "Follow" other members.</p><p>These are just a few of the cool features that will be available. I will be posting more info as I get deeper into it but I thought I would share.</p>
