<p><span style="font-size: medium;">We have added an Update Status to your artist page although it still needs a little work. This is the same one currently in your control panel. It just makes more sense to change the location to make it easier. Right now when you use it, it is not redirecting properly and gives you an odd message. It does however update your Facebook page if you have linked your account. Just press the back button for now until I get it resolved. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">If you have not linked your Mixposure Account to Facebook, just go into account info and scroll down and click the Post To Facebook button. Then follow the instructions. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">We are also working on adding a Twitter integration. It works but unfortunately broke the Facebook application lol. Until that is resolved, I would rather just work with Facebook since we know it works. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Hopefully the bugs will get resolved soon!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Dazed</span></p>

Well, Michael (his real name) makes a huge wave in the R&B community, mostly. However, this gentleman is not bound to just one genre of music. He's done some Rock pieces as well. He practically shared his new album with the community and revealed some songs which will be featured on another album he's working on. Michael (MP) is just a VERY talented artist and takes great pride in supporting everyone on <a href="http://Mixposure.com/">Mixposure.com</a> ... whether that is via reviews of other artist's songs, or simply attending our live shows on MixStream Radio. The man has great taste in music - no matter who, no matter what. That's evident in what he does - his own great music! Truly a giant that can pretty much put anyone in mainstream to shame."</span></p>
<p>A huge congratulations to <a href="http://www2.mixposure.com/Adrian_and_the_Sickness/">Adrian and the Sickness</a> for being our first Mixposure SOng of the Week winner! Their tune <a href="http://www2.mixposure.com/Adrian_and_the_Sickness/music.php">What Ya Do To Me</a> is just a great tune and has the hook that makes it stick out. <p><span style="font-size: medium;">How is everyone doing on their Same Song Title Madness Tune? The window for this event is beginning to narrow so please jump on it! I am sure one of the DJ's will be featuring all of the tunes on their show. Also make sure you use a genre of "SSTM Feb 2011" so the song appears in the chart we created just for this.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Have fun!</span></p>
<p>Early Monday morning I lost a good friend. Around 11:30 Sunday night, wildcherry woke me up and said our German Shepherd was outside and she was hearing animal noises. She thought he got hurt or caught some animal. When we finally got him inside, he was pacing, howling and obviously in pain. He was trying to get sick but it was just foam. After researching it quickly, we determined he probably had Bloat and I took him to a vet hospital up the street. </p><p>They came back immediately and confirmed what we had suspected. At that point, the only option was an extremely expensive surgery with no guarantee he would survive. I ended up having to put him down. He was just 5 years old and this was way too early to lose a dog. I know many of you have been in this situation before and it just sucks. Luckily our daughters seem to understand that he was sick and have not been asking where he was. When we had him in a kennel for a week during the move, they asked every day where he was. </p><p>He was a good friend and with a gentle soul and will be missed. </p><p>Dazed </p>

<p>Mixposure would like to congratulate <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/Ryan_Michael_Galloway/">Ryan Galloway</a> for being Mixposure's February Artist of the Month. Ryan is the musicians musician to be honest. A true professional in every sense of the word. His guitar playing and songwriting are among some of the best I have witnessed. If you have a chance, visit his page and check out some of the music videos he has done and you will see his skills in action. </p><p><a href="http://www.mixposure.com/Ryan_Michael_Galloway/">Ryan</a> has also posted numerous videos on Mixposure on how to market yourself. He also has a book he has written to help musicians as well. Just recently Mike K featured him on his radio show and the feedback was tremendous. <p><span style="font-size: medium;">Hey Everyone!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Kind of late to do a forum post for song titles and vote on a winner so here is the deal. With Valentine's Day coming up in February we decided we will be using the title of "Screaming Hearts" for this Same Song Title Madness. I think this will be the 11th one we have done?</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">If you have not participated in one before, here is how it works. The title is "Screaming Hearts" so the idea is everyone creates a song using that title. Vocals are not mandatory but obviously help sell the song a little better. The cool thing about this is you usually get 15-20 different songs around the same Title. It is interesting to see which direction everyone goes with the tune. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">This is also a great way to Collaborate with fellow musicians here on Mixposurel!! </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Let's put a due date on this song for Saturday Feb 26th. Remember you can use any song genre you like just have some fun with it! When you create the song use a song genre of "SSTM Feb 2011."</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Dazed</span></p>
