<p><span style="font-size: medium;">I just wanted to let everyone know that we added an embedded song player for single songs also. My apologies since I thought we already had this. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">If you go to you Music Page and click the button under Review and Info, you will see an Embed Button. If you click that, there is now a cut and paste text box at the bottom. If you want to add a single song into a blog on Mixposure, just copy the text and once you create the blog, click the HTML button on the small menu above the text input area. This will bring up a popup box where you can paste the code embed code in. Then just click update and you will see a yellow box in the text area where the flash player will appear. Then just click Create Entry and you are all set. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">We also added a Facebook Button at the top of the embed popup box. <p><span style="font-size: medium;">From the email that was sent out.....</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">We have setup FTP access availability for all Mixposure Subscribers. What this will do is give you 1GB of disk space so you can share files with other artists when doing collabs. Because not all members will use his feature, <strong>you will need to request it</strong> . Just send a private message to the admin and allow 24 hours for us to set it up.We have created a thread on this topic in the <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?41-F.A.Q.">Forum</a>. Please post any questions you have there.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>How It Works</strong></span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">You will need to use an FTP Client like Filezilla. This is a free program that will allow you to connect to your ftp site and be able to drag and drop files from your computer to the server. From here, the option is up to you. You can give your login info to those that you are collaborating with or just send them a link to your file. Your direct path will be <a>http://www.mymixposure.com/name/</a> . <p><span style="font-size: medium;">This is a topic we have discussed before in the past and I wanted to get some input from the members here. Alexis sent me a message asking about this and I thought we might as well discuss it. We had this conversation a few years ago but at the time, we were not in a position to proceed. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">As most of you know, we currently have a free FTP setup for members to be able to upload zipped files of individual song tracks to make collaborations easier. Unfortunately everyone has access to it. What we are considering doing is for Mixposure Subscribers is allowing them to have their own ftp server. This way it is more secure and you have better control of it.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I know many use other sites that are free or cost money. I also know these sites spam the hell out of everyone they get an email address from. This would be part of the subscription and would just be an added benefit. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Would you guys use this?</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">OK so lately I am having one of those, "What gear would I like to buy" moments. In reality I need absolutely nothing. Since when did that ever matter though? I have been considering a PRS Guitar over the last few months. I would love an acoustic but PRS acoustics are about the price of a decent down payment on a car. Lately I am just not feeling very musical so I was wondering if something new would kickstart the drive and motivation back in me. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">So anyone else in the market for new gear?</span></p><p> </p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">After watching the videos and reading the news about the devastation in Japan I am literally speechless. What a terrible ongoing tragedy. With issues surrounding the Nuclear facilities and continual aftershocks, it makes you wonder when or if life will ever return to normal. I know we have some artists here from Japan and I hopefully they are all ok as well as their families. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I was just reading that the earthquake moved one GPS station 8 feet and that the earth's axis was moved four inches. Maybe the Mayan's were on to something? </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Our sincerest condolences to those in Japan. </span></p><p> </p>
