<span style="font-size: small; color: #cc9900;">For the last four or five years we have asked everyone to put together a Halloween Song for fun. We see no reason to break the tradition! So if interested, the due date will be, October 31st of course! It falls on a Friday this year so that makes it more fun. Below is one that a few of us did in Oct of 2007. If I remember this had FocusPlayer, Peter M, StrongTom, Saturated and I on it. I do this post periodically because i think a lot of people forget and we always have new people who are not aware we have it! Since we are paying for it, we might as well use it <img src="images/smilies/face-grin.png" border="0" alt="grin" title="grin" />.<br /><br />When we owned the Guitaristworks.com domain we kept the server around so our members could upload zipped files when doing collabs or having Kent (Venuestudio) mix songs for them. We have a huge amount of hard drive and bandwidth space on there so please use it accordingly. I have added in 2 of the Genre Spotlights and the link can be found up top under Genre Spotlights. This is still under construction but we are getting closer. TJ Gardner and Rob Grant have stepped up for two Genres and we will be adding more along the way. A repost in case anyone wants to add anything!<br /><br />Well I hate to do this to everyone but we have made a change to the flash player in a way. The players on your main page have been changed to just play your music. This will make it easier when using it on your personal sites. The old players will still work and will appear as a small version on the music page. I need to update those by the way. I love the original players but I think they were a bit confusing with everything they offered. Now if you want the player to play your songs when the page is loaded, you will need to go into the artist link on the top left of your control panel > click modify > and change the Band Song Autoplay to True and the click modify at the bottom of the page. My apologies for the change but I think it is better for everyone. Oh the embed code is in the Share This Artist Button!<br /><br />On a quick side note, it looks like we will be adding Genre Spotlights in the not so distant future so stay tuned!! <br /><br />Again my apologies for the Flash Player change after most of you just put this on your sites. <br /><br />Dazed

Some of you may have already noticed the new flash players on your artist pages. I wanted to explain these in a little bit of detail so you can get the most out of them.<br /><br />1. Some wanted the player to automatically play when their artist page was opened and others did not. I added some code in to make this possible but in order to make it auto play you must click the artist link on the top left of your control panel > click modify artist > make sure Band Autoplay is set to "true" and click modify artist. If you do not want it to auto play, you do not need to do anything.<br /><br />2. If you click the Share This Artist button, there is the embed code to put the player on your personal site. The Height and Width Dimensions are there and you can resize it the way you like. <br /><br />3. If you click the Stations Button, this will show the Radio Station Image being used by members of Mixposure. Click an image to load that station and the songs will start playing. <br /><br />4. More songs will bring up random mixposure artists. Some of you may or may not like this feature but consider the fact that your music has just reached a larger audience with members posting this on other sites. When the song plays, they can also click the link to bring you back to your mixposure page. I think it is a great feature. <br /><br />5. Yes the bars go with the music for those who have asked 
<br /><br />6. As many of you know, we will be making the push to more video coming up in the next month or two. The new video player looks the same as the mp3 player so we will have the same look and feel. On the downside, once we make the conversion to more video, all videos will need to be uploaded again. The reason is we will be doing the same thing as YouTube. Formats like avi, wmv, mpeg will all be converted to flash or flv file extension. This makes it easier because we will have 1 video format to support and one player. We will also support Apple MP4 format.
<span style="font-size: small;">You will see at least one new Flash Music Player on your site now. Two if you have added a radio channel. <br /><br />There are a few minor bugs being worked out but they are working well enough to release. These players can also be embedded on your personal sites by clicking on the email button and getting the embed code. <br /><br />Some of the mouseovers are not working but will be shortly. If you click the page looking icon you will get the song image displayed for all of your songs. Might be a good idea to change those images up. Mine all look the same lol. From there you can choose the song you want to play.<br /><br />If you click the email icon, th embed code is in there. Once you have the code, you can change the height and width of the player to suit your needs. <br /><br />Hope you like!<br /><br />Dazed<br /><br /><br /><span style="color: #ff0000;">UPDATE</span><br /><br />Some changes were made last night and now the mouseovers on the buttons should be working. I also enabled the player to automatically play when your page is loaded. The same as MySpace basically.<br /><br />If anyone sees any bugs please let me know. If you do not see the mouseovers on the buttons, please clear your cache. </span>
Just a heads up that tonights Saturday Night Rocks Radio show will be a rebroadcast of Mike's earlier show with Gary Burris in the Center Stage Presentation.
