<p><span style="font-size: medium;">From the email that was sent out.....</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">We have setup FTP access availability for all Mixposure Subscribers. What this will do is give you 1GB of disk space so you can share files with other artists when doing collabs. Because not all members will use his feature, <strong>you will need to request it</strong> . Just send a private message to the admin and allow 24 hours for us to set it up.We have created a thread on this topic in the <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?41-F.A.Q.">Forum</a>. Please post any questions you have there.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>How It Works</strong></span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">You will need to use an FTP Client like Filezilla. This is a free program that will allow you to connect to your ftp site and be able to drag and drop files from your computer to the server. From here, the option is up to you. You can give your login info to those that you are collaborating with or just send them a link to your file. Your direct path will be <a>http://www.mymixposure.com/name/</a> . Since all of your files will be visible, you can copy a blank file named index.html into your directory and no one will be able to see what files you have in the directory.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">If you are not a Mixposure Subscriber and would like to use this feature, just go <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/subscribe.php?mode=view&template=subscribe.tpl">Here</a> and you can sign up. We know the first thing everyone wants to do when they come to Mixposure is upload all of their music. While this sounds great in theory, we would prefer that you upload just a few songs a day. The reason is simple. If your goal is to get reviews, you will get more reviews by not posting all of your music in one shot. It has been proven time and time again. <br /><br />How do you get more reviews? By reviewing other artists! It really is a simple concept <img src="http://www.mixposure.com/include/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />. I know it is a bit early but I wanted to post this so people could start working on their song submissions. For the past 5 years or so Mixposure has always done site themed songs. Like the Same Song Title Madness, Same Lyric Madness, Holiday Tunes but the one that seems to go over the best is the Halloween tunes.
For the Hallloween Song Submission, your goal is to create the best spookiest tune you can. It can be any genre you like. This is also a great way to collaborate with other Mixposure Artists. Please do not upload any tunes over the next month. Once we are in October, we will create a specific genre called Halloween 2011 for everyone to use. This just makes it easier to find all of the submissions.
For the month of September, the Mixposure Member with the most song reviews will win a Mixposure T-Shirt. You must have 300 reviews to quality! Remember, "cool tune", "love it" are not reviews! These will be deleted and not counted. Give your reviews some substance!
Again our apologies about the issues with the latest version of Internet Explorer. We are working hard to get it resolved. If you are using the newest version of IE9, you will see issues adding song info, blogs, private messages etc. Please use Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari or whatever other browsers I am missing in the mean time.

Previous Halloween Submissions
"We are a very big country. Victoria is a large State with a great deal of 'bush' country. The main trees are eucalyptus or Mountain Ash.....both are incredibly incandescent. <br /><br />Here is a link to a short documentary on the fires that we are experiencing, also there are links to the Red Cross donation line......Please if you can....help these folks. Many have absolutely NOTHING. Many have lost family and friends or community members. <br /><br /> You will need broadband to steam this....could you help more by passing the link on to as many people as you can and ask them to consider pledging a donation? <br /><br />Even a small gift will help and ALL of the funds raised on this Red Cross line will go to the people its meant to help. Admin....please allow this appeal to stand on site...it is all I can do to help my fellow Australians, by letting people know of their plight and seek help for them. <p><span style="font-size: medium;">After watching the videos and reading the news about the devastation in Japan I am literally speechless. What a terrible ongoing tragedy. With issues surrounding the Nuclear facilities and continual aftershocks, it makes you wonder when or if life will ever return to normal. I know we have some artists here from Japan and I hopefully they are all ok as well as their families. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I was just reading that the earthquake moved one GPS station 8 feet and that the earth's axis was moved four inches. Maybe the Mayan's were on to something? </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Our sincerest condolences to those in Japan. </span></p><p> </p>
