<p>Very sad to hear the news about Steve Jobs today. As someone who has worked in IT for many years, you have to admire his genius. I was telling my wife tonight that they always have sad news about Hollywood legends passing away and I just can't hold them in the same light as a Steve Jobs or a John Lennon. These guys were creators and innovators of something truly unique. An actor reads some lines on a page and is considered remarkable for a portayal of some character. </p><p>Steve Jobs pretty much saved the music industry at a time when Napster was illegally giving away music away. He legitimized downloads albeit at a hefty price to musicians/record companies. Not to mention what he did with Pixar Animation. Pixar put out amazing movies and when he sold it to Disney, he became their largest shareholder. So in the end, I guess you have to say well done Steve. You created a revolution with your ideas and turned many of us into something different than we probably would have been without you. </p><p>Dazed</p>
I saw this on a site I frequent and thought I would post this. It will not last long since it is a closeout at $349 - $35 (use promo code MF23) at Musicians Friend. Just click the picture to see the info. Harmony Central had some decent reviews on it. Great for Blues and Rock but probably not metal. Music123 has it for $699.
The Palomino V50 is a 50W, Class AB tube combo amp featuring 2 channels with independent controls, 2 - 12" speakers, and a footswitchable internal spring reverb. The Palomino V50 delivers vintage tube tone by the ton. The V50 combo amplifier also shakes off the standard black for a striking cream Tolex covering with gold trim.

Also the 30 watt version for $299 - $35 (use the promo code MF23)
The Palomino V3212 is an enhanced single channel amplifier for the tone and feel fanatic. It operates in Class A configuration, and generates 30W RMS through two 12" Celestion speakers. The enhanced Class A circuit runs four Groove Tube EL84s at full output at all times to deliver instant response and rich harmonics which are the hallmark of these classic circuit designs. The V3212 guitar amp has an internal footswitchable spring reverb unit to produce a huge, wet sound, and quite possibly may be the best sounding 30W class A tube amp on the market. Footswitchable boost, too. To complement it's unique sound, the Palomino guitar speaker also shakes off the standard black for a striking cream Tolex covering with gold trim. This is a lot of amp in a unit that still manages to be conveniently portable. Saddle up!
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Our host has made some changes to the server and I think things are running better now. I noticed before when clicking on submit after leaving a review it would take awhile to add the comment. It is updating pretty quick for me now. Is anyone else seeing any slow downs?</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">I know some artists have been taking selling their music to different levels these days. One such idea is giving their music away and taking donations instead. I know Ryan Galloway mentioned this last week on Mike K's radio show stating that most people give more than what you would expect. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">We have added a new field called "PayPal Donate Button" located in your control panel under Artist > Modify Artist. If you enter your paypal address in the field, a PayPal Donate button will appear on your Music Home Page and the Song Focus Page. The listener can enter in any amount they would like to donate to you. If you leave the "PayPal Donate Button" blank, no donate buttons will appear on your page.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">Thanks,</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva;">Mixposure Team</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;">Just wanted to wish everyone at Mixposure a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or whatever you celebrate! I was hoping for a white Christmas after finally being back in Denver but it looks like it will be in the 50's lol. Guess we could go to the mountains and have some snow but I really prefer a four wheel drive when I am up there. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Mixposure Radio may or may not be on the air during the Holidays. I will leave that up to each DJ to decide what they want to do. Most of us will be spending time with family so I do not expect the chat room to be heavily populated. DJ's please be sure to update the blog when you are on the air so people know!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Again thanks to everyone for being a part of the Mixposure Family and I do mean Family! Thanks for being here .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Dazed & WildCherry and the entire Mix Team</span></p>
