<p><font size="3">Hi all! </font></p><p><font size="3">Hey I am trying to find a way to code this but I have a favor to ask everyone in the meantime. First of all, Welcome to iMusicScene. Secondly we know you want to upload your music to the site. I however would like to ask that you only upload 2-3 per day. The reason being that this is your best opportunity to get more song reviews. When you upload 20 at once, people will probably not review all 20. Plus you push other new songs pretty deep in the New Songs category! </font></p><p><font size="3">Also please do not forget about the HOLIDAY SONG SUBMISSION for December!</font></p><p><font size="3">Dazed </font></p>
<p>A big congratulations to <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/DiggerStone/">DiggerStone</a> for being our August Artist of the Month! <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/DiggerStone/">Digger</a> has been on Mixposure for a few years now and has posted some pretty amazing tunes. I personally wish he would start creating more music but I think we all understand the time constraints we all face. Hey Everyone! Just a few quick updates.<br /><br />We have recently added some new moderators to iMusicScene. Some of you may have read that Jim aka Artificial Earth and Saturated have been added but we also just added Venuestudio aka Kent and Beerhunter aka Lonnie. Beerhunter and Venuestudio are going to help out in the Recording Studio Forums. Kent has posted some great tips in the Recording Studio that I will be adding to our Mixing Help area very soon. Beerhunter's Blog is also loaded with great information as well. <br /><br />Kent has offered to start mixing songs for some members. I do not think he can take on every project thrown his way but if you have something that you would like to have him mix, post it in the Help Mix My Song Forum. I know I will be asking him to do some mixing. Remember we also have the upload FTP server for you to upload your wav files to. Information on that is in the Help Mix My Song Forum. <br /><br />Please do not forget about the iMS Songwriting Challenge. We have four songs submitted already. I know I have this on my to do list! When you upload the song, make sure you use the genre of iMS Songwriting Challenge. The due date is May 10th and yes you can be late. <p><span style="font-size: medium;">Hey Everyone!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Kind of late to do a forum post for song titles and vote on a winner so here is the deal. With Valentine's Day coming up in February we decided we will be using the title of "Screaming Hearts" for this Same Song Title Madness. I think this will be the 11th one we have done?</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">If you have not participated in one before, here is how it works. The title is "Screaming Hearts" so the idea is everyone creates a song using that title. Vocals are not mandatory but obviously help sell the song a little better. The cool thing about this is you usually get 15-20 different songs around the same Title. It is interesting to see which direction everyone goes with the tune. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">This is also a great way to Collaborate with fellow musicians here on Mixposurel!! </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Let's put a due date on this song for Saturday Feb 26th. Remember you can use any song genre you like just have some fun with it! When you create the song use a song genre of "SSTM Feb 2011."</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Dazed</span></p>
<p>Well I hope everyone in the USA had a great Thanksgiving! Speaking for myself I am still stuffed! Had a great time with the family.</p><p>I guess we decided to do a HOLIDAY SONG SUBMISSION again this year. We have done this for the last three years and have had some great songs. So please visit the forum for more information.</p><p>The Mods and site Admins had a conversation about song ratings and it was decided that we will keep these for awhile. You can go into Artist > Modify Artist and select the JX3AP from the "Choose The Player To Appear on Your Page" drop down menu. Then you can change the color of it by adding the hex color code below it. You can mouse over the ? for instructions but to give you an idea, you would add 0x000000 for black, 0xFF0000 for Red. Just add 0x followed by the 6 digit hex code color.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">Update: I have added 2 flash players onto the widget pages. Minor differences between the two but take a look.</span></span></span></p>
