<p><font size="3">Well since there appears to be some concern over Artist Rankings I just disabled them. I never put much stock in charts or reviews from any site because they can all be manipulated. I learn more about the artists from listening to them and&nbsp;reading other members comments. Maybe that is just me.</font></p><p><font size="3">Anyway hopefully this will make some members happy!</font></p><p><font size="3">Dazed&nbsp;</font></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;">Facebook has now been fixed and you can use the application. You can go to any artist on Mixposure and click on the left side link for the Facebook Music Player to add that artist to your Facebook page or just go to the Application Page </span><a href="http://apps.facebook.com/mixposure/"><span style="font-size: small;">here</span></a><span style="font-size: small;">. Once you add the artist, you can go click the drop down under Account &gt; Application Settings &gt; and click on the Edit Settings for My Music to determine who should have access. The songs will appear on the tab section like Wall, Info, Photos, Links &amp; My Music. You can change the order of these by dragging them to the spot where you want them. This was a quick fix to get the music back up there. We will do some layout changes soon. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">The Chatroom is back together again. For whatever reason, there were some conflicts going on with the existing flash player so we just put a new one in. I should have done that first versus spending many hours trying to get the existing one to work. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">That leads us to where we are now. Since we have only had the new server in for less than a week, please tell me how it is running. Are you having any issues? Slowdowns? If you are having login issues, please close the Mixposure Page and delete your cookies. Then try and login again. <p><span style="color: #cc99ff;"><span style="color: #bebebe;">The Same Song Title Madness is something we do a few times a year. Here is how it works. We have everyone submit a song title <a href="http://www.imusicscene.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&amp;t=11997">HERE</a>. Then we create a poll and have everyone vote for a song title. Once a song title is chosen, everyone will have 4 weeks to create a song using that title. Vocals are not mandatory but obviously help sell the title. The end result is multiple genres and different takes on the song title. Once the songs are complete, we will feature them on iMS Radio and have everyone hook up in chat as we all listen to them for the first time.</span></span></p>

Obviously a fantastic cause for us to get involved in. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Just wanted to let everyone know that the server has been moved. There are probably a ton of things I will need to fix when I get home tonight. Depending on when you signed up, your user id may not have made it over. I will look into these tonight and see if I can get everything loaded that was missed. Somethings may have been dropped and we do apologize!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Also you will notice that the www2.mixposure.com url is now gone. This will change your embedded flash players you may have loaded on&nbsp;any external&nbsp;sites and they will need to be updated. I will look at the code tonight and make sure the embedded code is correct. If you want to fix it on your own, just drop the "2" in all the "www2" entries. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">This move was very difficult due to the size of the site. Between all of the mp3's, videos and pictures, we had a lot of data. <p>Hi guys just a few recent site changes to tell you about. </p><p>1. When a new Review is received, you will get an email notification that you have a private message from the member who did the review. There will be a link in the private message to read the review. </p><p>2. In your control panel on the bottom left under Extra you will see an Invite Someone to iMusicScene. Once you click on that you can add an email address and a message to invite someone to iMusicScene. Please use it often! </p><p>There are several more that I will add in abit. </p><p>If you would like to add an iMusicScene Banner on your site, please go HERE to get the code.</p><p>Also we wanted to thank everyone for using our Sponsors! <p><span style="font-size: medium;">Wow I had no idea! Pascal (Old Mixposure Member) sent me an email today and had mentioned </span><a href="http://www.garageband.com/" target="_blank"><span style="font-size: medium;">GarageBand.com</span></a><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp;is closing their site effective today. I think I need to get out more since I had no idea. This kind of amazes me because I always thought that was a great site with some talented musicians. Granted not as talented as the Mixposure Artists! <img title="Cool" src="http://www.mixposure.com/include/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-cool.gif" border="0" alt="Cool" />&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">It is hard to believe that Mixposure has been around since 2004. I think that says a lot about the community here that we have been able to survive. So after reading about GarageBand closing down, it just reminds me to always take a moment and thank you for being a part of Mixposure. I spent a few hours today trying to get is resolved and I think it is there. If you are on Facebook and have the application loaded, just click the Change Artist Link and reload the same artist. That will then load all of your songs into the box. If you have not added it, just go here </span><a href="http://apps.facebook.com/Mixposure"><span style="font-size: small;">http://apps.facebook.com/Mixposure</span></a><span style="font-size: small;">. You can then add any Mixposure&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: small;">Artist to your page that you like.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">We also added a Mixposure Social Networking Icon to your widget page. This will allow you to add an icon much like Facebook, MySpace etc. to any site you like with a link back to your Mixposure Page. I still am looking to make a slight change to this but as it stands right now, you can click the Facebook Link,MySpace, Google etc. to post messages to those sites with links back to your music song page. I need to make one fix where it will actually post the Mixposure Song Player on it. It works for MySpace but the others I am still working on. To find these, just go to your music page and click on the Review and Info Link. That will take you to the Song Page with all of the song details and links.
