How do I contact people on this site?

By songdoc, 2013-10-19

I am most frustrated. Once again someone took the time to not only listen to, but to post a review of one of my songs on Mix. For the life of me I cannot find any way to say "Thank You" or acknowledge their act. If there is a way it is certainly not obvious. It just seems that currently the site is preventing artist interaction rather than facilitating it.

Fun jazzy collab; I'm The Only One

Fun jazzy collab; I'm The Only One

This is my first collab with Terry Wigmore (though not David Coonrod by any means). This turned out to be a wonderful surprise weaving of styles. I hope you enjoy.

I'm The Only One

Symphonic Rock Collaberation with PEBailey, DCoonrod and DCDeal

Phillip Bailey, David Coonrod and myself have posted our first collaberation, Strange and Wonderous Things. This is an extensive, symphonic rock composition with various movements but, hopefully, a coherent whole. Working on this production with Phillip and David has been a joy and I hope you folks enjoy it as well.

Sorry, had to re upload

I apologize for those who took the time to comment on Strange and Wondrous Things. With the server problems the page became unavailable so I had to delete and upload the song again.

Strange and Wondrous Things

Thanks Mix friends

By songdoc, 2012-05-26

Thank you Dazed and all the Mix folks involved in "Song of the Week" honors. It was a most enjoyable experience for me (and I'm sure Nigel). The choice of Dr. C and Gary Garciello's song "The Dandelion Girl" as the next "Song of the Week" rocks big time.

Dave

Jime (feat Earthsongs, DCoonrod)

This song is dedicated to Sir Jim Easton. In the midst of a long musical dry spell Jim mentored by sharing from his vast wealth of musical knowledge and gently nudging me to new musical explorations. I am most grateful to this wise teacher and friend.

http://www2.mixposure.com/David_C_Deal/song_focus_28107.php

This Unknown Soldier Video

By songdoc, 2012-02-06

I have had the immense trust from and honor to be allowed to produce this work from the prose and experiences of John Else. CSK productions provided the video and I the music. Courage is expressed in many diverse forms and I believe Mr. Else has displayed them all. It can be watched at http://www2.mixposure.com/David_C_Deal/video.php
