I actually started off singing an octave lower, but didn't like the vibe, and re-did it up there. Darn good thing it wasn't any higher or I'd have had to re-record everything at a lower pitch. (That'll teach me to do the vox last ....

Nice smooth flow to this.Guitar has that classic Class-A tube drive to it.
Did you use tubes or a processor to get that bite? Good playing man,shake those strings !

Not what I expected. For some reason I expected a C&W vibe a-la-Marty Robbins. Okay, I'm dating myself. But, I really enjoyed this song. Nice rhythm groove. The backing stuff is perfect -- it drives the song without a lot of flash and trash. Simple and effective.
