Hey Guys!<br /><br />I just noticed that a new blog post I had today is missing as well as a few PM's I had. It looks like there was some server glitch or something and they restored from a previous point from this morning or last night. <br /><br />I have a message into my host to see what is up and will send a message out when I know some details. <br /><br />Thanks and sorry for the problem!<br /><br />Dazed<br /><br />*****Update*****<br /><br />Just heard from my host. Just wanted to let everyone know we are trying to continue to add Genre Spotlights! Heinz (airmeki44) and Mark Cloutier (MarkC) will be doing the Pop-Rock and Blues Spotlights respectively. We also added Idiom and Sly Puppy a few days ago for the Ambient and Electronic Spotlights. <br /><br /> You can see all of the spotlights from the link in the menu or just click <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/index.php?t=genre_spotlight">HERE</a>. Some of these pages are under construction so give it a little bit of time for them to build the pages. <br /><br />Thanks to Blake, Rob, TJ Gardner, Mark, Idiom, Sly Puppy and Heinz for volunteering their time to work on the spotlights. Oh we also added a banner on the artist pages for the spotlights so that will also help you find your way to the spotlights!<br />

<p>It looks like Sunday will be the move to the new release. This is a pretty epic release everyone! I think everyone is going to like it from the standpoint that the site is the same layout/color but with some functionality changes.</p><p>As mentioned before, the audio players will be a bit basic and we will remedy that as quick as possible. <p>A big congratulations to <a href="http://www2.mixposure.com/Lex_Zaleta/">Lex Zaleta</a> for being our first Artist of the month for 2012. Lex has been a part of Mixposure since day one and probably has more songs than some have brain cells. Talk about a prolific writer!&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Have a listen to some of his tunes and and swing by his artist page and leave a comment!</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

Hey guys! In a month or so as we mentioned not long ago, Mixposure will be doing a change over to the way the site handles videos and music. <br /><br />What we will be adding is a conversion server. What this means is that all videos, regardless of format will convert to flash. This is the same as YouTube. So you will be able to upload avi, mwv, mpeg etc. and we will automatically convert it to flash format behnd the scenes. This allows us to switch to one video player for Mixposure. It is a lot easier for us to manange not to mention flash is a smaller format.<br /><br />As for MP3's it would be like soundclick. Upload wav or 320k mp3's and the files will convert to 192k mp3's.<br /><br />In the mean time, I thought I would throw up some randow videos!<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Dazed

<span style="font-size: small;">I wanted to take a moment and say thanks to everyone that is out there doing Reviews. I see a lot of the same people always in the Top 10 Daily Reviewers such as Margot, Rapster and WildHoneyPie. Your dedication astounds me so again thank you!<br /><br />Since we have implemented the ability for artists to determine whether or not their songs can be reviewed and rated, I have not seen a lot of people take advantage of this. This tells me that the artists here do want their songs listened to and reviewed. With that in mind, please be courteous to your reviewers and return the favor!<br /><br />Again, thanks to everyone who is doing reviews.
