Mr Nick Nasty is modifying the <a href="http://www.guitaristworks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9315">Cancer Research DVD</a> to include two DVD's. This will require the need for some additional material. If you would like to be a part of this project and donate a song or a video, please read the thread and let Nick know!

Just wanted to say congratulations to Visual Cliff for their new distribution deal with Best Buy and Circuit City. That is a major accomplishment guys!!

Wow what a relief. I forgot what standing up for 10 hours was like lol. I had a great time and met some incredible people. One thing is for sure, musicians definitely walk to the beat of a different drummer. </p><p>It was great to be working with Frank from Stratage Guitars and talking music with him and his son Jeff. He is also fine musician and has a page on Mixposure as well. Not to mention how cool it was that their wives made the trip out to Dallas.</p><p>I finally had the chance to play a Stratage Guitar and was immediately impressed. We shot a video explaining the guitar that I hope will be posted soon. I also walked the entire Dallas Guitar Festival on Saturday morning about 2 hours before the event started and shot video of almost every booth. The bad news is it was nearly a 4gb video in high definition. So I am converting it down and will get it posted tomorrow most likely.</p><p>A few thanks are in order!! I need to thank WildCherry for pushing me to do this show. You were right. I had a great time. Also a big thanks to Gary Hart for his artwork on the vinyl Mixposure Banner for the show. We had business cards printed with the design that WildHoneyPie created with a little help from one of Blake's images. Bilbozo and Buddrumming own a printing company and I had them make a bunch of them for the show. All of you did a fantastic job and were such a big help in getting this off the ground. Finally a huge thanks to Frank from Stratage Guitars and his family for all the work that went into the show! </p><p>If you were at the show and are visiting Mixposure for the first time, welcome to the site! Hey Guys!
Just wanted to let everyone know that we made a change to the Artist Pages today. You can now add your YouTube Videos to your Artist Page. This is enabled for All GuitaristWorks Members and all themes. You will now see a Video Menu link on your Artist Page. Here is an example thanks to FastRedPonyCar . Sorry FastRedPonyCar but it was a quick way to test this out!

When you log into your Artist Page and click on the Control Panel link, you will now see a Videos section in the menu on the left.
1. Click the Create Video link.
2. Fill in the Video Name, Video Credits, New Album or Existing Album and Video Genre.
3. When you get to [size=18][color=red]Video Caption[/size], cut and paste the embedded video link from your YouTube site.
4. Then below that code, add any comments you would like about the video.
5. If you scroll down, you can Upload a Video Image or choose from an existing image you have already uploaded.
Do not worry about the Upload Video File, Import Video File or
Video Viewer Access since these are effectively disabled. You must use YouTube to host the video.

We have also completed the upgrade of the server. Hopefully we have corrected any and all issues!

<p>For some reason our Facebook song player got a little corrupted and was only displaying a link to the page instead of posting the player on Facebook. If you are not sure how to add songs to facebook, you can use the below. Also many of the players have Facebook buttons in them to add them directly to social networking sites.</p><p> </p><p>From your artist page ie. mixposure.com/your_name there is a FB Share button below the player. That will add all songs to FB.</p><p> </p><p><img src="http://www2.mixposure.com/image.php?mode=photo_image&band_id=10&image_id=8043" alt="" width="500" height="319" /></p><p> </p><p>Alternatively, if you just want a single song, go to your artist page, click on the music tab, click the button next to the song for Review and Info to bring you to the song focus page.
