the lyrics are really good, great story telling. a great blues track it has a zeitgeist energy straight off the get go. and the vocalist just draws me in. excellent work.

- Its amazing what all you real-world musicians can do - me I am stuck with whatever my computer can do - and a few instruments here and there 
collabing with other artist from all over. But due to and injury to my left hand I could not play, so I did not sing and it really bothered me. Doc David Deal really got me motivated into trying to get the guitar part right. I loved the chords and progression I chose for this song and I did not want to have to change the chords. I had a pretty clean guitar track, and Doc made it better with his mix. I was worried about how my vocals was going to work with the growl. Again Doc did his magic again. Then Doc went to work on the keyboards and man did he hit the biggest home run. It was Perfect. It was what I always dreamed this song could be, and because this song meant so much to me I still tear as soon as I hear his opening notes. Again thank you my friend.
Hi Helen, I think that you and Phil did a wonderful job. I was thrilled when you agreed to sing this song. I enjoyed collaborating with you & would happily do it again. If ever the opportunity came along.

Love the lyrics, especially the first and third stanzas. Nice pop type tune to go with them. Excellent.
Helen's voice is amazing here. I love the fact that your lyrics are put to music and sung like this. This has to really warm your heart and make you wanna do a lil dance, HA! I am SO happy for you everytime you release something. I just imagine the feeling that you must be having. Especially when it comes out like this. The music and arrangement is almost too good to be true. Fits so well with what you wrote. I love how Helen delivered and interpreted this. Philbilly gets mad love here as well. What a fine collab!
