An excellent cover of Cars, Scott! You have nailed down the vibe and the instrument sounds of the original. Great vocals, keys, bass and guitar work. Nice job!

I think when artists who genuinely like each other come together, you get music like this. It's tight, it kicks ass, and it also sounds like everyone involved had a great time. Well done!

Hi Farrell, Not being satisfied with a track and working on it until you are is both the struggle and the beauty of art! I totally get it! The extra effort is so worth it. That harp is amazing!...

Remind me of the days that I ride my bike too but I stopped after I meet a serious accident nearing knocking me unconscious. Inpsiring music by a beautiful person.

Great retro song structure with contemporary recording quality. Sounds like your channeling 'Opera Man' a bit on the vocals which is great! As always, the lyrics are compellingly clever filled with wonderful thoughfully crafted humour.
Lex, this was a real treat! Great tune, excellent vocals and as always great lyrics! You sure know how to inspire other musicians with your own music, man!
Heinz.
112 songs on your page, hey Lex you must be kidding. I think it will take ages for me to catch up with you - I am all the way far far behind you. Easy man, easy. I like the humour you protrayed in your delicious track, yes delicious is the word that came to my mind. I feel like enjoying a good super meal at my favourite restuarant. The organs are top-notch, the swing is definitely easy on the ears and the vocal, well only one word to say GORGEOUS! Always love your music passion. COOL CAT! My friend.
PS : I had my pant dropped - laughing make my stomach tight.

I Like Bike
Interesting title.
Interesting song too.
The words are built as only you can do.

Hi Lex, My first listen, is that your natural singing voice! In a class of it's own, really cool.
Classic progression and a great production. That all sounds so sweet, that acoustic in the background, the organ, great sounding drums, yum yum. I'm going to listen again and focus on the lyrics...
Dig the lyrics, I'm going to dust off my bike and see if I still can balance on that thing. You know what they say...
Cheers
Frank
man i'm tellin you that i love it, this s^&t is all that!
if i insulted you then i'm an ****!
Well, My wife's got a new theme song. Funny stuff - classic lyrics! Gabby Hayes sings about the Wright brothers, how cool is that? Can't wait to hear more of your stuff!
well your voice is terrible! but my god its FANTASTIC!
I Like My Bike also;
You should be a vocal historian. A new genre. Always a surprise with your next tune. Like this, being a History Univ.. major...this would be a good way to teach history to students. You have a good vocal here, a true environ-man. We need more artists like you voicing their ideas to make for more world change -one step sideway and having all looking from above , ever so high to see how frail this planet is. Can we all not adapt to 'less' and slow down.
You sing it all so well here. Like the piano and guitar. Most wonderful Lex.
You said it well. Superb.
-Vesa. ( I rode my bike all summer with my family last year...in Amsterdam they close the streets only for bikes)
LOL....like this tune Lex,funny stuff brother ! Music is excellent, and the lyrics are humorous, while at the same time, too true.
Now you have me wanting to recycle my seeds & stems........
Love that harmonica.
Peace,
Tsargoth
Looks like I slacked and missed a few. Great intro Lex!
Agree vocals are cool. Reminds me of Ian Hunter!
A+ on the lyrics!
Wow. Amazing work here. Great blusey lyrics and most excellent performance on guitar and vocals.
Great work!
Mike
Ah,good to hear you Lex...
Been too long
Combining humour, with your endless lyrical skill to take a swipe at the car culture.
I went after that "Target group" a while back and I am still in hiding
Ah I remember ye olde days Lex when you used to refer to your sound as "The band in a box"....
Well, times have changed and so have you mate.
This crystal clear and sounding like a full on band production.
It is good to find you here doing what you do Lex,and long may it be so.
Most enjoyable.
Nigel.
