<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Just wanted to update everyone on the Review Crew. While the poll was in favor of having one, it just seemed to stir up too much emotion in people that were against it. The Review Crew was something I thought could be a valuable tool for musicians who wanted an honest opinion of their music in order to make it better.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">My suggestion for those of you who are looking for more in depth and honest feedback on your songs is to note the song information area. Also use the Spotlight Feature on your song to help dra attention to it. This way if reviewers take the the time to read your song information, they will know specifically what you are looking for. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Maybe down the road we can revisit this topic and try again. <p>Tonight is the night! iMusicScene is proud to announce an evening with Keith Miller.
We will be featuring the songs off of Keith's new CD, Over the Abyss. The show

This is some mind blowing guitar work everyone. Keith is endorsed by some major companies and has played NAMM. That in itself is an accomplishment considering the caliber of players at that event!</p>
<p>From Keith's Bio -
<br />Born with a love for music, Keith Miller started playing the viola, and then the violin in grade school at the age of 9. Keith dreamed of playing the guitar and his parents agreed that if he learned violin that they would get him a guitar. Keith worked hard and got a 6-string acoustic guitar for Christmas when he was 12. He then taught himself to play by learning chords from a chord book.<br /><br />Keith advanced to writing his own songs and formed his first real band, “The Patriots”, in the 6th grade. The “Patriots” evolved into “Faith” a very good and promising band that Keith continued to play in until after high school when the band broke up. Keith continued playing violin though Junior High and sang in the choir in Junior High and High school.<br /><br />In 1990 Keith Miller enrolled in Musictech College of Music in Minneapolis. Always desiring to be more proficient as a guitar player and a better musician, Keith strived to master the guitar and music theory. After graduating from Musictech College of Music, Keith has kept himself busy with music by playing in bands, as well as doing recording/studio work. “PLEX’D” one of Keith’s most noted bands, received rave reviews in national magazines as well as some label interest. Keith also worked with the distinguished producer, Ira Ferguson. While Keith still plays with “PLEX’D” and has plans for future side projects, his main focus now is that of a solo artist. With that, he has released two successful albums, “Groove Train.” and "CHALK". Both CD's have been receiving great reviews and have charted in the top 10 most popular and best selling Instrumental Metal CD's on both Guitar Nine Records and CD Baby. "CHALK" was also picked at #4 for Best Instrumental Release of 2004 by ©QUINTESSENCE METAL</p>

<span style="font-size: small;">I just wanted to let everyone know about some new features we added to Mixposure. You will see on your Artist Page Menu link for Gallery Slideshow. This will show all of your pictures in a popup slideshow as well as several other cool features. I also added a link within the normal photo gallery page at the top. <br /><br />The next phase of Mixposure is more emphasis on Video. I have an example <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/index.php?t=n8_video&channel_id=2">HERE</a> of what the video flash player will look like. So in case you are wondering, flv video format will be the key for us. <p><span style="font-size: small;">Well I said we had an announcement coming and I was not kidding. There was talk of iMusicScene closing down and essentially it will over the next few months. The reason being? We bought a new domain name that some of you will remember called Mixposure.com. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">The domain name was expiring and I left a message for Kyle, the old owner of Mixposure. I never had a return call and he let it expire. That was sad because I wanted to buy it from him. Instead it basically went to someone who had the domain name on backorder. These companies do that so they can sell the domain for a huge profit.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Mixposure had a rich history and a lot of talented artist. I hated to see the domain name go to waste so I started the transaction on Friday and it completed today. I almost canceled it over the weekend after everything that went on.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">I think this is a great move for us personally. Yes I am sad that iMS Name will be going away in a way. But I think the Mixposure name had such a great following we will just add to the great artist here.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">I am not sure how some people are going to take this. Some may find it great. Others may be saddened. This is why i was going to leave the site down for a few days so when you returned, everything would be done.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">So this is our big announcement! Love it? Hate? You tell me. We will be changing everything up over the next few days. All links will still work. Those of you that were here when we changed from GuitaristWorks to iMS may remember the fun lol.</span></p>
