If interested, I have uploaded a small classical piece called Recollections. It's a new style for me

http://www2.mixposure.com/David_C_Deal/music.php

David c Deal

Ok, not exactly, but as the end of my turn as Mixposure Artist of the Month approaches it feels like January is coming. (and in Northwest Ohio that is no small thing!

I want to say this has been a wonderful experience. I am so very grateful to all involved; Mixposure.com, Dazed, WHP and the sooooo many Mixposure friends and artists who have treated me like "musical king of the month".

If this turns out to be the height of my musical career it would not be a bad mountain top to savor. Thank you all and I hope the next "Artist of the Month" enjoys it as much as I have.

David c Deal

I read an article in Rolling Stone about Goldman-Sachs and how they have siphoned so many resources from the average man, starting in the 1920's. Blood Money is a reaction to this article. If you'd like to read the article, it is available at http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/29127316/the_great_american_bubble_machine

Thanks, David c Deal

This song was inspired by my good friend who endured a long illness, (not to mention the self reflection it stimulated). The good news is that following the production of this song he fully recovered, making for a joyous but a somewhat awkward debut. Life certainly has its unexpected twists and turns.

Thanks,

http://www2.mixposure.com/David_C_Deal/

I have just posted a song written for my beautiful granddaughter, Jocie. Mack Sanders added his outstanding vocals and David Coonrod added an beautifully creative bass line. I hope you enjoy this piece.

http://www2.mixposure.com/David_C_Deal/song_focus_17635.php

The lyrics are:

In the dark of space,
Bursts a star of light.
Dressed in human form,
A girl by type.

And she shines,
And she sees
With eyes of an Angel

She smiles of secrets known,
The world her toy.
She giggles flowing streams
Of crystal joy.

And she shines
And she sees
With eyes of an angel.
With eyes of an angel.

John Else as offered more of his heart wrenching prose, this one titled "Fit For Duty". It is integrated with my music for our project, This Unknown Soldier. John does read comments.. please feel free to leave them. We hope these songs help heal and increase understanding. Dave
