<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #c0c0c0;">Hey Everyone!!</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #c0c0c0;">Just wanted to thank to everyone for their participation in the first Mixposure Oktoberfest celebration. Gina did a fantastic job with some creative picture editing with our Mixposure Members. The chatroom that night was full and lively with some great music being played and some hilarious songs by our members.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #c0c0c0;">This leads us up to Halloween this Saturday! We have a ton of Halloween songs already submitted and will be featuring them on Mike K's show this Saturday. I think we will give everyone until Nov 11th to determine the song with the most plays to determine who wins the Mixposure T-Shirt. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #c0c0c0;">The next site track will be our annual Holiday Song Submissions. Jim of Abbeyville Road approached me about doing a Mixposure Holiday CD to sell with the proceeds going to a charity. I am all for this personally but I can't speak for everyone here. You have probably already seen the MySpace links in the Blogs and Artist Bio. This will allow you to post any Blog or Bio to your MySpace Blog, Bulletin or About Me Section. To use it, just click the MySpace image and from there you will need to log into your account and click the button to determine which MySpace section it will go to. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;">Also if you go into your Control Panel > Artist > Modify Artist, you can now enter your YouTube, MySpace, Twitter and Facebook links. She has worked on big stages and small stages, in bars and public functions and on plenty of living room couches.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva;">For the past 3 years she's been mostly doing online collaborations with artists from everywhere, Often providing just lead vocals, but sometimes providing harmonies, lyrics or musical composition and even rarely, guitar, piano or flute performances. Recently, she has been working quite regularily with Juri Rosenfeld a.k.a Grand Jury (Musician) and Dawn Sinclair (Lyricist) She continues to work on her own original material when time permits, but enjoys collaboration because it gives her so much opportunity to try different things and work with some incredibly talented artists.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva;">Amy records in her living room.</span></p>

Mind you, she can play some really nice keys as well !!! I was highly impressed by her articulate narrative during the Mix Radio Center Stage Presentation on my show, which aired September 19, 2009. I was equally impressed with her awesome lyrics for the songs she provided for my show segment. I was even MORE impressed by those fresh, awesome sounding vocals. Always on key and on time! We need more Ashley's, is all I can say!<br /><br />So, <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/Ashley_Lanser/">Ashley Lanse</a>r is my Mixposure Artist of the Month pick for October 2009. Pretty soon you will start to see Sam Ash banners on Mixposure and Mixposure banners on Sam Ash.</p><p>I will be removing ads to other companies since Sam Ash will be Mixposure's Preferred Provider for Musical Instruments! Why go anywhere else right?</p><p>Sam Ash has been a staple in the music industry since it started in 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. As most of you know, we decided to scrap it. What we have decided to do is this. </span></span></p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">We have created a New Forum called <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=129&sid=09c4cac46018dec2ba7c759fe0b9eb80">Critics Pub</a>. Many of you may know <a href="http://www2.mixposure.com/Steve_Gilmore_and_In_No_Sense/">Steve Gilmore</a> from Mixposure, SoundClick or other sites. He is probably the leading Music Reviewer on the internet! Steve has decided to start doing reviews on Mixposure. </span></span></p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">If you would like to be a Reviewer, please create a topic in the forum with your criteria. If you want your music reviewed by Steve or one of the other Reviewers, reply to them in their thread. DO NOT CREATE A NEW THREAD. The only new posts in that forum should be by the Reviewers. </span></span></p><p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: large;">I think this format will meet with everyone's approval. These reviews wil obviously be a little more in-depth than the normal reviews. Perhaps reading through his message, "A word from David about Transformations," will send you on a journey, in and of yourself, like no other that you have experienced.<br />It's a journey that I embrace, with arms that welcome both quality music and a path to find what is waiting deep inside myself. I met David on MIXposure, and after reading his bio, checking out the music and also his personal website, I got to talking and interacting with him and the people in chat during one of our radio shows. I quickly realized that this person I was talking to is a man of great substance, experience and diverse talent-- a man of several dimensions, so to speak. Through his music, I believe he can open up new dimensions for ourselves, in our own worlds of music and self-searching.<br />Music and self-searching... they go hand-in-hand, don't they?
