This is a collab. cover I did a while back but never posted it up....so it's new to Mixposure. I was invited to add the harmonica to this cool, vintage blues song. It's written by Willie Dixon and first recorded by Muddy Waters in 1955. Several artists have done this song...including The Rolling Stones. It's was a lot of fun adding the harp track to it! My thanks goes out to Tim Green and 64Gtrs for the invitation to participate.

I've never heard the song before. Nice job on this one. Sounds like a good standard to know.
Its Great song guitar/bass bouncey riff / hook reminds me of Ray Charles or maybe Humble Pie - Hallelujah I Love Her So from the live at the Filmore album- I want to be loved is a great tune to cover and rock out on.
Thanks Bill! The song was written by Willie Dixon and recorded by Muddy Waters in 1955 and later by The Stones. It's not as well know as some of his other blues songs such as Hoochie Coochie Man or Spoonful but it's still a real cool gem of a blues song. Thanks again for the good comments!

Just some new and old songs that I've written over the years and to date plus some collaborated songs as well.

I've had fun with this music stuff most of my life and still do. I gigged in a band for 35 years but now I'm just a home studio hack. Made a few bucks from gigging but I guess the real pay out is the numerous stories and memories from the road.
For a while I ran a small project studio at my place for soloists, duos, and the occasional full band. I gained a lot of recording experience doing that. It was definitely an experience. These days it's just me having fun in the studio. I try this and that with songwriting and recording. Once in a while it works. If I come up with something decent which I think sounds ok, I'll post it up.
I like acoustic guitars intermingled with electrics supported with melodic vocals and backed by harmonies. Music has been an enjoyable part of my life. It has allowed some satisfying and personal expressions to come forward. I'm grateful for those moments. Thanks for visiting and if you have the time, hit the play button to hear some my musings.
